Like maybe some hand holding while driving... or sitting side by side doing, accidentally falling asleep on the other. Idk just fluff. I don't need sex or naughty kissing scenes. Instead we got crap-- present episode excluded.

Same but different. Sotus 2 (I put it off for a long time because of those concerns) I learned to understand more after reading the novel and getting inside Art's head a bit. But DBK's Kao just seems nearly nonredeemable. At least we got some college flashbacks of their time together in Sotus 2. When Art got thrown into the "adult" life he felt he had to hide.

You just said everything I have felt and have said from the beginning. PeteKao does NOT portray a 3 year relationship. I still stand by that I would have rather NO KISS at all, then that gay panic kiss thing that happened.

Pete/Kao was a pleasent surprise in THIS episode. It was pretty fluffy.
The whole gangster thing still is very stupid to me. Who tracks someone down who lives a day's drive away to beat them up-- over some restaurant beef? How did he even find them? He didn't even have their name... like zero sense.
This was the most enjoyable episode of the entire series to date. I am now wishing the other 7 episodes never happened (at least all of Pete/Kao's parts)
That's unfair. I know. I loved the moment Kao held Pete's hand. Enjoyed his sucking up to Pete as an apology after his outburst. But this was by far the fluffiest episode yet.
This is the first episode of the entire series that I felt pleased. I did not skip parts, nor did I speed it up/Skim.
I'm watching now and all despite all the fluff and sweet moments all I kept thinking is LOWER THE MUSIC... Also why is P'Dean sitting so far from the table? Push your chair in na P

He is just Intouch's friend. There was nothing more... in the novel I don't think he was a prominent character. I do remember the scene of him pulling In away when he tried to talk to Korn but that's the extant of him.

BUT episode 8 was a giant contrast to the rest of the series. PeteKao surprised me here. Their parts in majority of the other episodes were trash!
