I started watching DBK at x2 and it worked fine for me. The worst pacing I ever saw was TGIF the series. I have never seen so many blank stares and awkward pauses before in my life. I'm realizing maybe it's a Thai thing? Maybe just a Thai BL thing? They're trying to convey God knows what through their eyes but as the audience all I am seeing is awkard silences *cue the crickets*
I think I'm going easy on Tharn and Type because their chemistry is so good but the show didn't promise anything from their initial trailer. So they surprised me VS DBK which promised so much a YEAR before airing and delivered... NOTHING. Less than nothing.
Yeah I think they're not friends in RL... there's no way they can have so much chemistry before to such a bad show now. Maybe TT and MODC spoiled me but I felt that kiss was horrid. Skip worthy horrid. But to each his own. The whole thing was going well... Kao had his arms around Pete it was so sweet... I thought mm finally then they ruined it with that half-assed Korean drama wide eyed surprise lip smack (is that what they call it? lol) after dating 3 years and presumably being intimate..

Also all the inconsistencies, the dragging plot, the cringe script, the shoddy camera work and angles...
I do watch Tharn Type and although there are some things that could be better I feel like the actors are doing a great job with a sometimes lacking script but this could just be a translation issue... They had a lower budget than DBK right? Yet they are doing so much better at the overall
UWMA is cheesy and so far I feel that the editing and scene transitions, timing just sucks so much. Last episode half of the first part was cuts of Perth's character crying while his friends stand around trying not to laugh, or maybe they forgot their lines?
MODC I feel has surprised me so far. It's pretty good coming of age story... in retrospect all those shows are portraying characters of around the same age. 18-19

I feel that Type doesn't know how to be in a relationship with someone like Tharn. It's clear... not to say he doesn't like him. I think part of the issue is the inner battle over the fact that he likes Tharn so much.
He's a homophobe, with a traumatic past trying to come to terms with the fact that he is gay. Not only that... right when he realizes it and who he wants to be with... he realizes that he knows absolutely nothing about that person... and because he's an immature idiot he takes it out of Tharn..
Granted in this episode it's like Tharn wanted him to get angry... He didn't right away just tell him about San causing Type to blow a fuse lol, then what San said to Type. If it were you would you want your boyfriend to have such a relationship with his ex, especially after the ex basically just rubbed it in your face?
