I think if he had that scene AFTER the scene where In talks to Korn it would have made more sense. He should have ALSO shown In admiring Korn (as the show made it look random and out of nowhere when in truth In already knew he liked Korn)

It's only episode 3 but I kind of get what you mean... I'm happy I read the novel first.

This story is an amazing one because it's technically original and different. But like.. that scene was just bad :(

Did anyone else feel like the opening scene with Perth was out of place/too sudden and more off than anything else. It was long and drawn out while his friends stood by awkwardly like... we get it you want Perth to have screen time but couldn't it have been done differently?

His crying cuts were off, once second he's shaking the next he's not even crying, his friends are smiling, not smiling, and like... okay

I read the novel translation before watching so it didn't feel off to me. I actually felt like the opening scene with Perth was more off than anything else. It was long and drawn out while his friends stood by awkwardly like... we get it you want Perth screen time but geesh
