How is it that someone dumps you, as you are getting ready to propose, gets married to someone else, you don't see her for 8 years and then you label such a person as friend, enough to escort them for a doctor's visit. Freaking ridiculous. If this is what the drama is like and these are just the opening episodes, I wonder what the rest of the show will be like.

I was all hyped up for angst until I rewatched the previews for today's episodes. There are some character that I just can't bring myself to care about. Luckily I was coming here to gripe about not wanting to sit through characters that I don't care about (little puppy's elder brother is on that list), not when I have mentally steeled myself for the aforementioned angst...... Low and behold the rest of the episodes will be available tomorrow. So, I'll just hold off on watching these 2 and just binge the rest of the show tomorrow. Its only 24hr lets see if I can wait...

I think he is an investigator. Paralegals mostly stay in the office and research for a law that may apply to the case at hand. Investigators are the ones go along with attorneys to interview clients in the field. I could be mistaken thou, I drew this conclusion from watching hundreds of episodes of US legal dramas. Maybe its different in Korea but I don't think so

It may seem harsh but it was exactly the right thing to do. Unfortunately it shouldn't have gotten to that level but since the situation was already that bad that was exactly the thing to do. Here is the thing, the Emperor, empress and Consort are all reasonable people. All the other children are of decent character except this fifth princess and 3rd princess behave like entitled. 3rd princess was raised by her maternal merchant uncle so that's where she gets it. Where else could 5th princess be getting all of that rubbish that she spewed in front of her parents if not from those aides. Her mother is easy going and so her behavior kept escalating until she didn't care about anything else and didn't mind ruining her mother's birthday party.
I can do without the scenes of the crown prince and princess. I see in the trailers that we'll have a few episodes next week where they feature. I've gotta steel myself for those parts. Like, its ok that the crown prince is a nice guy who doesn't want to do any bad to anybody. He is so unsuited to the role. Everyone knows it, himself included. I just wish he would stop making it worse by following bad advice for people who are more incompetent that him.
