Am taking it as a sign of broaden imagination. Hopefully that continues into the drama scripts as well. Am still waiting for a drama about an ordinary guy, not the male 'god' and a smart girl.
You really can't trust MDL's ratings. It ends with tragedy, everyone gives it a low rating. Lol. Meanwhile sugar-coated…
lol, so true. Still, the ratings are a representation of what viewers like. People overwhelmingly prefer happy endings to sad endings, otherwise there would be more dramas like this one than those 'sugar-coated plot less dramas'
Somone be upfront with me do the main couple here have a happy ending or not ?
There are 2 endings. One is open and the other is happy. Check out @honetime's spoiler comment below for a detailed explanation of what how the 2 endings came about.
It's been years since I've watched this and can't get over it. Any recommendations on a female centered historical…
You should check out Nothing Gold can stay. Its long, 74 episodes but its an awesome story featuring one of the strongest, most resilient female lead I have ever seen in a drama.
Am 6 episodes in and here are my thoughts so far. CGI is very good, as well as the set design and the costumes too. The plot is moving along fast and the story is engaging. I liked how the story opened with nobody being dumb and avoiding unnecessary misunderstanding.
ML is doing his best to convince me of what he is saying but its not working. I almost feel like I see how he is struggling to remember his lines while doing the actions that go with them.
FL is meh, she is pretty but still meh.
The Red Saintess character is a homicidal maniac while the White Saintess is probably less so but somehow a whole different kind of crazy.
I stuck it out until ep 26 hoping it would get better but it never did. The deciding factor came as I was rewatching in A Class of Her Own and I realized that the fight scenes there were better than those in Legend of Fei.
May be, I am just too used to Dong Hua in Eternal Love of a Dream, but this Dijun is so weak and sorry.. stupid.…
To the best of my knowledge, Hao Chen made himself weaker and hid his heavenly aura so that he could go down to the mortal realm without people noticing that he wasn't around. He is basically AWOL. He is the one the beasts report to. That's why he grounded Teng She because that little trouble maker only listens to him and would notice that he wasn't around in a heartbeat. He is basically mortal, powers wise its just that he knows he is from heaven.
Also he didn't know that the Li Ze palace people were a race of demons because that race disappeared at the time of the great the war so he thought they died out. Also the Li Ze palace people use a special technique to hide their demon aura.
All of this I have gotten either from the show or from discussion on this page at the time. I haven't read the book no am I gonna, so someone who has, can add to /edit this.
YES!!!! I almost wish that the names of the groups were different because people automatically associate devil/demon with bad and righteous with good when it appears that in this world they are just different groups of people. Not all demons/devils are evil and not all the righteous sects or people of the heavenly realm are good.
He gets a lot worse so prepare yourself for that feeling.
One more big BIG thing will happen, ep 42 I think XJ doesn't finally figure out what is happening until ep 47-48 I think. Its been a while so am not exactly sure about the eps numbers. Basically SF figures out what she is before every one else and decides to hide that fact from her to protect her which of course means that she is open to manipulation by HC.
Hopefully that continues into the drama scripts as well. Am still waiting for a drama about an ordinary guy, not the male 'god' and a smart girl.

A few more acting classes would be useful.
Those must be biased for some reason.
