The female lead characters from Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan, Legend of Mi Yue and Nothing gold can stay are also pretty amazing although not quite as blood thirsty as WYL with the exception of Zhen Huan. They are all portrayed by Betty Sun and she does a fantastic job. The legend of Concubine Zhen Huan in particular is awesome!
In my opinion WYL is the perfect heroine! She doesn't start trouble but if trouble finds her, she will finish it. If you want peace you let her be but if you mess with her or her people then you are asking for it!

Why shouldn't she get revenge on the guy who essentially caused her sister's death - a person who was more like a mother figure than a sister. The only real family that she had (I don't count her dad because he was a disappointment).
The prince raped her sister simply because he knew he could, as the emperor's brother, his mother then had her sister killed to protect that little shit's reputation, again because she could.
To top it all off, Prince He act of apology is to grudgingly have her sister posthumously acknowledged as a concubine - come the F on!!!. He totally deserved what he got, because he was such a little shit!!!
I honestly believe that if Prince had actually tried to make genuine amends to WYL she would have forgiven him - but that arrogance of his would never allow him to lower himself to that degree to a "commoner". There is right and wrong in this world and its refreshing to see that those who do wrong get punished accordingly.

Am only on ep 3 but its surprisingly fun so far. I am a little disappointed that the voice dub of FL. The voice she had in Arsenal Military Academy was one of my favorite things about her character.

She neither gets a good ending nor a bad ending - the fl tells gives her and the aunt a piece of her mind and cuts them out of her life for good. Of course, they were causing trouble without the Uncle knowing so he loses his temper at them as well.

I would say she was more disappointed that her cousin was stealing a life experience- an important one at that from her. Her cousin has always taken whatever she wanted from her, toys, clothes and food. That experience was important to both of them because it saved Li Zhe's life by distracting him from his problems and it was probably meaningful to the fl because she was adjusting to going from a loving home with her parents to being viewed as a burden in her uncle's home. She has feelings for the boy who helped her when she was lost in the woods but not of the romantic sort, more like an older brother who took care of her when she was most in need. I think ML is pretty assured that FL will chose him over Li Zhe - she has previously stated that she is with him through thick and thin. He knows that why she tells lies she is not the kind to cheat on him. But then again, that's just my interpretation of the interactions so far.
Can someone please explain to me why this boy is getting so much hate/harassment? I think he is simply adorable and does not seem to warrant all the negative news that there is about him.

There is some ridiculousness in this, around the middle - I can't go into too much detail without spoiling but trust me when you come across it you will know it. My overall review is that its a fun watch if you can get over said ridiculousness.
