the story is really good if they didn't drag it...somehow you get lost in the story because its logic is all over the place and there is no sense of continuity from the plot and its concepts. All i can say is that the love arcs are just too much...love triangles and naive characters seems like a trend in this series..I couldn't hold out for the ending no matter how interesting and twisting the plot has gone...so dropping it at episode 40....
watched it a few months back and wasn't able to fully immersed myself in the drama....yes there were a lot of good twists in the plot and hell forbid there were so many naive and annoying characters from leads to supporting...also it was super draggy, they could've condensed it 24 or less episodes because i got tired of waiting and waiting..so ended up dropping the series all together...
it was a good drama here and there...so many interesting plots twists..costumes and sets were really pretty and scenery were awesome...with all of that mentioned, it was super draggy to the point of pulling hairs...made it up to episode 35 and couldn't handle it anymore...
although it was cheezy and cringe all the way through with some of the cutest moments here and there....it actually had one of the best sad goodbye scene in a short webseries....
dropped it like 5 times..couldn't wrapped my head around the characterizations...wanted to watch the original version to see if the characters were really as portrayed here...
this was quite entertaining and i really got to know some of the other bands like 2am, 2pm, bigbang...already a SM fan with Shinee and SUJU...slowly getting to know the girl groups...
dropped it in a heartbeat after she went flying off her bike in the beginning...woke up my whole house from laughing....that was about the only entertaining thing so far..watched it up to 20 minutes and was able to foretell how the story will roll and how it'll end so yeah not gonna stick to the ending....
it was bleh for me.....i mean it was expected of LJS performance and character, first time watching BZ work so she was meh....when in reality I only watched because of Jung Hae In...but all in all the over all concept had way to much to think about....the over load of fantasy and reality became too blurry...
I mean if you follow the drama just for fantasy aspect you might be able to swallow it down...or just forget you can think on your own and process reality you'll probably enjoy the drama....also in regards to romance I'd rather just not go there.....I feel I was able to tolerate the drama when I was able to block out fantasy when needed, block out relative reality, block out romance, block out stupidity and etc when it calls for it....
just by reading the plot summary I'm already at an aversion to avoid this film all together...

it was a bleh for me...i mean i like how goofy and funny they are and out of the selection of songs they displayed in the webtoon I liked only 2...also came out of the webtoon a huge fan of MoonBin and Rocky....finally understood why people think of Eunwoo as 1 dimensional...i mean his pretty and all but that was all I remembered him with through the webseries...not that its anything bad....If im not wrong he is the same guy from Rook Historian and Gangnum Beauty which if I recollect was pretty 1 dimensional his characters....
2 questions so I give this series a try. 1 is our main lead cool and strong or weak and 2 how bad is the love…
Both dramas had the same problem...its the female lead with some annoying character...at least thats what i think..I mean the story could've made it far without any romance at all...I wish they would just do one sole focus on the aspects of historical context if thats where theyre going but no..have to drop in some kind of romance.....and then whine about the romance not being the emphasis...like shit why bother with it in the first place (for Hwarang)...as for Ashes of love I believe its a love fantasy so not so much could be said about that...although there was a whole lotta fuss over the throne and power struggle that really could do without the romance and female lead all together..as throughout the whole drama she was a hinderence left and right....LOL...
anyhow thats how i see both dramas....I mean i quite Ash of Love like the first 10 episodes.....try rewatching it like 5 times already resulting in quitting it all together by episode 3...as with Hwarang its my 3rd time rewatching it and still can't get over the female lead...saw someone wrote that they don't understand all the negative comments towards her character when it was the most realistic character in the drama..in my head i'm like...if that it was a case of realistic that female lead character should've been first to die or be killed..that's how realistic it should be...LOL...
