I genuinely thought this series would be a more darker but its just romcom with kidnap premises. Honestly only gmmtv can make light of as scary and horrible situations as kidnapping. And this is not a compliment. I don’t get it why don’t they make more mature and darker BLs? I want a BL like Not Me, Homeschool or like Enigma? Why always make so light hearted BLs? I am now sure My golden blood and The heart killer will be same as this. Very much water downed in plotwise and the main focus will on just romance.
Anyways for what this series is I am enjoying it! Sure it didn’t meet my expectations but this series makes my Friday a little better. I guess the new CP is what making me want to watch more of the series! I hate love teams. Unfortunately we rarely see different CPs so having Ohm and Leng as CP is definitely a plus point. I hope they will not make this a permanent CP I want to see Ohm work with different actors as pairing.

Some of the things you said perfectly! They ate 17 they are full of hormones Sheng Wang dreaming of Jiang Tian and calling out his name. Him wanting to kiss Jiang Tian and fantasizing Jiang Tian showering these are all a 17 years old sexual desire. But Sheng Wang doesn’t act on them because he knows acting on those impulses can create so many problems. It can destroy, Jiang Tian who has abandonment issues and finally found a home , his safety net. Also the thought of them in the future becoming brothers looms over Sheng Wang’s mind. Sheng wang distances himself to contain his feeling within himself and he knew staying around Jiang tian 24/7 was going to make him suffer more and his feelings will become even more hard to contain and may overflow.

I think some people watched the series with what their mind wants to see …not what the series is telling them.. not what the characters are saying and expressing their emotions with their action. Sigh
Its funny when you comment under someone calling the series bromance “ Just say you want to see NC scenes to call it bl” they will get defensive and start calling you homophobic. But a series that literally is portraying characters realising they are in love with same sex and how they are struggling with it for various reasons and yet calling it a bromance isn’t that homophobic too?! Reading some of the comments here it feels some of you watched a completely different show… how can you call it a bromance? Sheng Wang’s feeling for Jiang Tian was the reason Sheng Wang intentionally butchered his exam and trying to distance himself fron Jiang Tian. Tell me in which bromance drama MC distances himself because of his romantic feelings for ML? Shang Wang wanting to kiss Jiang Tian, fantasizing Jiang Tian showering and calling out his name… tell me which bromance drama did you see such scenes … or the line Sheng Wang tells himself “If I like him or not… only I know it” if this was not confession that Sheng wang is in love with Jiang Tian than I don’t know what is? Just say you guys needed an proper NC scene to call it a BL. After all stay with me incorporated little kisses yet many people called it bromance why? Because it didn’t have NC scenes. I was there from the start to finish with Stay with me series and the excuses people made to label that series bromance was mind boggling and some of you are doing the same thing with this series!

Its because the English teacher is Chinese and the investors demanded she gets more screen time that's why the teacher story got this lengthy because they created new material to include her more... In the novel the teachers get minimal focus. Its mostly about friendship and BL and career and childhood trauma.
They really couldn’t end any other way friend. A lot needs to happen yet… before these two confess
I understand you really… honestly 12 more episodes they could have wrapped up the whole novel.. its the company and investors and also the copyright issue that made them end in the middle. If people get discourage because of this and stop watching we will not get season 2! The director even said in his recent podcast talk about season 2 is already on the progress. This time I have a feeling we will get a season 2! We just needs to be patient and continue supporting the actors and the whole team
