What is confusing? Two boys meet each other due to their parents fling and they are confused how to navigate around each other and then slowly become friends because they realise they both have similar pain brought by their childhood and then develop into a romantic relationship. The novel is long and its a slice of life genre with BL. Book 1 and 2 is about them becoming friends and overcoming childhood trauma and more focused on their student life and for sheng wang seeing those teacher kissings opened his mind that boys can be romantically involved and his feelings for Tian is not platonic. Book 3 is when they both realise their feeling and confess and become couple and make out make out make out. Book 4 angst angst and then happy ending!!!
