First criticism the sound effects really Gmmtv should fire their current sound effects director… they just insert random puppy noises.
Now positives I loved the episode. As a first episode it grabbed my attention. Ohm is such a good actor he slayed as usual 😘 Leng surprised me he did a good job too! Honestly was worried about his acting but he was good. And honestly i will not complain much about his acting as this is his first gig. He deserves a chance.
BG series, sometimes they put 2 eps weekly, but for BL, never happen before
Not bl deserve weekly 1 episode. They should treat some bls like how they treat bg series. But ig fans if bl are extremely crazy the company knows as they can produce the most shittiest series and drag it as ling as they cast the popular pair. I sometimes wish gmmtv bl watchers become picky maybe then gmmtv will change its strategy regarding its bl… btw I am talking in general terms..

MDL rating is not “official “ rating I don’t think many actors or directors or critics even know about MDL.
I am sure stay with me did this but I think when this series will end they will release merchs and dvds and maybe (finger crossed) some short of cp magazine. Mainland China have more buying power than us international fan so that could also be the reason? If people are trashing the douban rating many people who relies on douban score may not watch the series or the investors may look at the douban score and comments and decide not to invest on merchs and s2… it matters probably in a way you and I as outsiders probably don’t know? Also can’t the Chinese people watch the series legally with vpn? Or does the view don’t count if you watch with vpn?

Even the dynamic between stay with me cp and this cp is completely different… the characters here is more down to earth and realistic…the only similarities is the parents situation. But both stay with me and the only one are best bl that has come from Taiwan/china in last few years

They are saying actors are ugly have zero chemistry and that director is not being faithful to the novel and characterisation of main leads blah blah…honestly reading the comments felt like those people just want to complain for the sake of complaining…
