That fighting scene though😂😂 the music and the wuxia style fighting it was so cringey but I loved it 😂 people who are not watching this just because there is a chance this will turn out to be bromance you guys are missing out! The first 4 episodes are very very enjoyable. I loved every second of it! You can actually see and feel how much care went to producing the series to its best and yes the actors acting have room for improvement but can we appreciate they actually casted guys who actually look like high schoolers! Can’t say how future episodes will turn out but until ep 4 for me its an 8.5

Also the poster sucks I hope we get a beautiful poster soon!

One of the actors is definitely from chinese and I saw him in other chinese series as supporting character.

But I did a little research but I never found any info regarding that series that will be produced in china can’t be aired outside the country without govt permission but I am not from that country what do I know I am just a 🤡waiting for all the LA of danmeis to get release. What do you think punishment for hacking and releasing those produced series illegally will be? Because at this point i just hope all danmei “mistakenly”gets released🤡

But the Addicted remake regardless it is bromance or bl it is danmei novel adaptation that is made in China by mainland chinese actors and by Youku and except Mainlaind China its airing everywhere so explain how is Youku able to produce this series in china and air it? Somethings are just not adding up. By the way i think they are not airing it on Youku’s international app but through viki and gagaoolala. So what loophole they are using…cant they do the same for other LA’s.!!!

Okay someone explain something to me —-so few days ago I posted why cant Youku, Mango, Iqiya and tencent sell all their already produced denmai LA to other countries streaming services and someone said “ even to sell those they will need permission” but Youku just released the remake of addicted novel under new name Stay with Me today via Gagaoolala and it will be available in most of the countries except Mainland China so did govt gave Youku permission to air Addicted remake in other countries via another stream service? If so why not do that for all the Chinese BLs? Someone who have knowledge how this all works please explain it to me!

You can film anything in china there is no restrictions on that but you can’t broadcast anything without the permission.

I enjoyed the 2 episodes my only complaint for now is sometimes the camera work is very Bollywood serial like which is a bit annoying and funny at the same time and also both boys look very similar to me so I sometimes become confused about who is who. Why not cast people who are good-looking but look entirely different? I sometimes wonder whether because of the make up and filter that makes some cps look very identical to one another.
