Starting this drama on eps 4. The chemistry is so sizzling. Jing Tian looks lovely in republican costumes. My 1st tine watching the ML and FL drama. But i always love Jing Chao's acting eventhough he always dont get the girl

Finally starting this drama. The last time i saw Huge in Legend of Condor Hero and then i stop watching Cdrama. Came to Cdrama again since CVD19 and watching all top 100 MDL list.

I know from the cast and great reviews its going to be an amazing drama and it i'm not dissapoint. Reason to delay watching was because of lack of love story and heavy plot makes me need to take a breather first.

I'm already crying my balls out at eps 10. Wangkai so handsome and our Wulei is so cute.

I finished this drama with 2x speed. Although i like the relationship of husband and wife, but the story wise is to modern centric.
FL doing business and independent. I like a smart FL but when she dont communicate with hubby and follow blindly with the villian is just like a modern drama setting.
Culture shock things in the capitals is so like 21st century concern, want to keep figure thin, dont eat sweet foods, socializing between nobles in cafes.

Even the special episodes talk about FL dont want to get pregnant early becoz of career, and hubby play along with Wife wearing a pregnant suit. It might sound cute but not logical in a historical drama.

What ever floats your boat. S+ dramas like princess weiyoung, ten miles of peach blossom, pillowbook has good dubbing. But low budget drama tends to have same voice actors dubbing it. And sometimes ruin the mood.

From the writer style i dont think QM will have bad ending.

I just finished The Rebel Princess and those villian was so gruesome especially if the bad guys came from barbarian country. Also Novoland Eagleflag had awesome villian that kills the whole court in front of the majesty. It brings fear on what will happen to Main Character just by watching it.

But for this light drama its safe to think there wont be any pure evil plot.

Yeah but if you watch other villian that is like 10 steps ahead, the Qui woman might be tortured sent to brothels, r*ape in prison etc. That will be no turning back. I think the writer still made it mild.

YL didnt see the importance of the Qui woman at first coz of he thaught LY only wants to take advantage of the dad connection. Now he knows LY wants to protect the Qui wmn, he will come stronger at them. And if he take a liking to Qui Ying, then it might be a battle of 2 couples next.

It says 15 eps on 14th for vip. But i saw only 8 eps.

I saw in trailer they will wear the bracelet again after they are together. Its gonna be their Love token

Real actors voice but low quality audio vs overdubbing with annoying voice actors but good quality audio. Take your pick.

Im 70% here for the ML voice. Other 30% for the perfect bickering of FL and ML with their own voice

From the preview 19-24

- QY new identity as SWI and concubine to LY. His mom looks ok with it. Less worry about evil mother in law plot
- by eps 23 LY confess to QX he likes QY but does he confess at the rooftop?
- YL another step ahead in exposing SWI as QY. In ep24 she no longer wearing the concubine outfit?
-later trailer still shows QY wearing Concubine dress. I think she will realize she loved LY when he was hurt and she carried the wagon screaming i just want to be LY furen / wife.

I dont like villian that is too strong and far ahead in scheming that will lead to ML/FL have to sacrifice themselves. And im okay if they make YL work together with LY in the future coz i think hes not that bad.

The villian YL is written as strong as LY so i cant complaint on that. Sometimes stupid villian is just so boring and predictable but a comedic relief to the drama. With YL he can think like LY and one step ahead, but not too far. Thus the drama make me more suspense but not too afraid coz i know LY can handle the situation.

I cried watching the moms secret

I love a great ML who knows how to plan. LY So smooth canceling the wedding so that he can be in the investigation. Furthermore clearing his path from marrying the wrong sister. QY needs to calm down and see the bigger picture

So i look back at the view schedule, non-vip gets 1 eps from sat - wed

QY is still immatured in dealing with her moms death. If compare to Minglan moms death or Syiyi in Sword of brocade, she is miles away. Maybe because she didnt had a harder life b4 and need to wake up and see the bigger picture. Even if Qui family involve in the death matter, she should investigate 1st and make a plan on how to take revenge. Minglan waited for 10 years to get her justice. And it was grand.
