Im jumping to this drama without any expectation. Saw it no 1 trending in Iqiyi and i havent tried any of the MC dramas. Eps 1 has me hooked and the synopsis is very intriguing.

I like the playfull character of ML and contrast with the seriousness of the FL. And he is more than meets the eyes. Love the plot/trope where MC will help each other and both have their own strength.

Thanks for your insight. I also like Huang Rong and Guo Jing relationship. Smart Lady and a brave and righteous hero.

A lovely drama. Im avoiding eps 29-30 later and will just marathon it with the next 31-36. No need to feel angsty while waiting for the MC to make up. TXL is my kind of anti hero.

What i feel funny is ZX wants to protect Baoning but he coluded with the Empress who wants to terminate her. What does he expect the result, that only LQ will get executed and leave BN for him. In his dream.

He was hypnotised by the brothers assisstant who knows witch craft.

This just so stupid. They believe a nun testimony and a jade pendant as the evidence of LQ mums murderer. Did they forget when they blamed the owner of the eagle flag as the murderer. Never learn from experience

After 5 years of time jump, no changes at all. FL and ML dont have any kids. The mysterious book of weapon has yet to resolve, all villians are still roaming freely. Im just here for Li sister and 2nd prince

1 love triangle between the senior with 1 twin but ML got jealous of him and thaught that the senior like twin FL when actually he likes the 2nd Twin.
2nd Twin ML also got jealous and wants to stop the senior from continuing loving his gf, eventually the senior and 2nd couple ML became best friend.

All in all there are no villians and everyone have a happy ending

Can this drama be more dissapointing. Yes it can. After i dropped it at eps 8 and came back, i can just say what a waste of time this piece of Trash. Toxic ML obessesive, stupid naive FL, crazy b*tches chasing ML.

This drama has its flaws but i still kept coming back for those cute scenes. The FL gets under my skin sometimes and 2nd FL is a b*tch. There were some scenes where no BG music due to copyright issues and at 1st i hated the dubbing, but later got used to it. The last 4 eps is a miss for me.

The good part, i like the childhood trope, ML does alot behind FL back for her career. The families supporting them especially the butler. FL supportive frens and loyal ML assistant. And ofcourse the accidental kissess and amazing chemistry of FL and ML.

Overall i still like it. 8/10 for me.
