Watched 28 ep. Much preferred the first 14, 15 ep. Not a fan of entire Shanghai arc - it's starting to drag for…
Second, this. I would say your comment covered all my feelings. I did like the first quarter of the Shanghai arc when it was still about her own ambitions.
heyy, just want to ask if this is enemies to lovers, and if it is that so is it slow burn?
It started of enemies to lovers, they stopped being enemies and just became misunderstood non-allies, accidentally getting in each others way.
Technically slow burn, more like low burn. Just like in many C-Dramas, they neglect the main couple's story to give the side characters a romance and a save the world.
I don't know if the blame lies in the source material, script, director or producers but something went wrong. But I would only recommend if you really like the actors, as they did a good job.
I really don't see the issue... they are adults and they will meet/fall in love before the relationship between…
Romance isn't everything to me, I am not that one-track minded. I respect and cherish family and friends just as much as romance.
This situation is messy and in poor taste. If they break up, do they just go back to siblings or in-laws? Is there really no other people in this world, you can date, that isn't your future sibling or in-law?
Adults normally have common sense and self restraint, I don't consider this adult behaviour. I am way better than that.
I love a mature romance but I know where this is going with the son and daughter, so I won't watch, It's going to make me so uncomfortable. Maybe once it finishes I will return to check reviews, if their is no romance between the children I will watch.
I don't know how to feel about the ending, it feels like it needs a third season. The bullying case could have been scrapped we needed those extra episodes for the ending, we needed an update on Qiu Hua and Quan Quan and don't get me started on the protagonists... This was weird, I love the first season, this one needed more time in the drawing board.
I think Sangmin's charcter was unnecessary and they focused way to much on the 2 younger couples, it almost got ridiculous how much time was spent on the younger couples after episode 30.
I still really enjoyed the protagonists and their romance, although they could have expanded more on it and their careers.
I got stuck somewhere half way when business plot picked up and I still cant bring myself to finish despite these…
Sorry for such a late reply, I was able to finish it, although they did give me waaay more than I bargained for. Give it another try if you have nothing else you would rather watch. It isn't a bad drama and it does quickly evolve as the drama goes on, you may find you like the third or last quarter, although it wasn't my cup of tea, if I'm honest I started the drama imagining something very different.
I feel like that is what made her so amazing as an actress to me, she wasn't scared to make comical faces as well…
I'm talking about the actress and I wouldn't know about her getting fired since I am not a lawyer.
the main character seems to have more flexible work hours as the lawyers in this show need to investigate, meet client and sometimes go out of town, she may know how to use her free time wisely, I am able to go to the dentist and other appointments in my 9 to 5.
Rayzha is so underrated, at least internationally. She's amazing
So true! I unfortunately only had the pleasure of seeing one of her shows, which I sadly finished today but I am a fan and keeping an eye on her new projects!
The FL should not fully smile, showing so much gums is not attractive at allπππππππ
I feel like that is what made her so amazing as an actress to me, she wasn't scared to make comical faces as well as other varied expressions. I really loved her acting in this drama and am officially a fan, I hope she doesn't stop smiling unabashedly and beautifully .
I looooved the main character, she felt very real because she was quite flawed. She is very judge-y but still managing to be a bad judge of character, but deep down she is a good person who cares about the people she loves.
This isn't the drama if you want wish fulfillment and romance, she makes many mistakes, frustrating sacrifices and finds it difficult letting go of situations and people that harm her. The romance was subtle and mostly banter and flirting.
I feel the ending may have been a tad rushed but I was satisfied with the end, I will certainly hope for the second season hinted in the last episode. I really did love it, was able to binge it and I personally felt the acting was amazing.
