I wish Yuan Qi and Feng Yin at least hugged each other instead of staring at each other in the final episode. Of course, this doesn't mean I don't find that scene poetic. Their reunion scene was poetic, happy, beautiful. I just wish they hugged and kissed once. Only then, I'll be completely satisfied, because I needn't spend time imagining the rest in my head. But for now, at least, I'm thankful that the ending is not open or sad --- something that I saw in one specially hyped-up big budget xianxia drama.
I agree. HY is so dense and clueless that he has to be slapped on the face with YS feelings. Still, i'm pretty…
Yes, I know. Isn't that why he was strangely quite and reluctant when the servants presented him with all those wedding stuff? ππ I think Hong Yi just didn't want to slip away the chance to get back at Yuan qi for hurting him in the past in small ways even though he knows yuan qi has his reasons...π
I just finished rewatching one of the captivating moments of ep 33 wherein Yuan Qi changes his attire to match that of Feng Yin's wedding attire... Omg that moment was so beautiful to watch especially with a powerful bgm played in the backdrop all the while.. . I envy Feng Yinπ
I especially loved ep 33! I'm rewatching ep 33 simultaneously as I write --- more like multitasking. I especially loved how Yuan Qi playfully reminded Feng Yin that she is meant to be a divine beast of the true god of chaos and so, must follow his orders. And the look on her face! ππ Finally, Even the drama makers seem to remember the original "logical" Bond between the two. I thought they had forgotten all about it after ep 1! Looks like I'm not the only one who didn't forget. It's good though... This way the whole story is about to come full circle... Connection is established with ep 1 too.. I enjoyed that whole interaction. It's a treat! And Feng Yin calling him a philanderer! π€£
I love the way Yuan Qi robbed the bride! He used lot of psychology too, to handle Feng Yin's reactions and responsesπ€£ππ€ It's a treat! A delight to watch their wedding! Yan shuang should've just confessed her heart at least after Hong Yi rescued her on his wedding day! Anyway she persisted for thousands of years! Why not persist till the last moment like Yuan Qi? Pride is not going to help deliver a message to someone playful or pretending to be dense especially someone like Hong Yi! π Yua shuang should've confessed her true feelings that day itself when Hong Yi tried to prevent her from going back with that painter kunlun guyπ Their romance had more potential to be developed into a more intense love story... Anyway waiting to watch out how Yan Shuang will forgive Hong Yi! π€π
They are not translated yet. They are beautiful though. If I'm not mistaken, there's a different ending song for…
Will rewatch the end oc all those episodes you mentioned. But I wondering whether all those osts are available separately or as a playlist on YouTube instead of being presented as part of certain episodes alone...
#1 Who killed Lan Feng?#2 If GJ dies and can get reborn, how come acting heavenly emperor Lan Feng cannot get…
Writers of xianxia dramas always write the plot that way. Almost always, they leave no hope for the resurrection of supporting characters, but somehow the main leads no matter how cruelly they die, the writers will give some leeway for their resurrection... That's the pattern I have seen so far(especially in xianxia dramas) most of the time... π

I envy Feng Yinπ
I just reached the part of ep 33 where Yuan Qi gets all emotional, grabs Feng Yin's forearm, and says he can't let her go because he has been waiting for her to come back all these years!
He even calls her A Yin!
I'm going to replay this shot sequence again and again! π
This is one of those rare moments in this drama where I see Yuan Qi standing upto A Yin and confessing boldly what he feels about her!
Oh my goodness! It's too much to take! π©·

I'm even more excited now!

But the male lead of Ashes of Love didn't follow that pattern(both in drama and novel) ...

Actually, I asked the other person, not you regarding the links...
But, no problem...
Also, no harm in asking π
