I expected the angst since I have seen the trailer to ep 19 and 20, but after watching it , it wasn't so angsty,…
Yes, I loved watching episodes 19, 20 too & I watched the trailers of those episodes beforehand too, but watching the scene that conveyed a temporary potential separation between the main leads made me feel worried. That's what I meant when I used the 'angsty' word. However, I know everything will turn out well based on the previews of episode 21, 22 which I watched.
The angst part was too angsty, but the episodes are getting more & more interesting to watch. And the spoilers are a treat! Will wait with patience for next two episodes!
Can I just say I fangirl on a couple of scenes in these two episodes!!! 😍😍 I can't believe that drunk Liu…
Because he is born from the pure half of the heart of god of moonlight. That's what was shown. The nature of the identity of the main leads aren't fully revealed yet. Perhaps the main leads were the two supreme gods in the past? No idea. For now, Luo Ge's behavior is different from that of the god of moonlight because he doesn't have the full heart as well as memories of his past self, the god of moonlight 10,000 years back. Same goes for other main leads, I think. They're all current avatars of their original selves, So there could be some similarities in the way they think or the way they make choices. The current avatars and everyone else know only the details of the main events that took place in the past. They have no idea of each & every detail of the lives of the supreme gods yet.
But this is just my speculation. Let's see how things turn out.

That's true. I heard him mention the past once to his immortal master. Maybe this time the sun goddess & moon god will find a way to live together happily.
But I don't think immortal Luo Ge completely identifies himself with the god of moonlight yet. Maybe because he regards himself as the positive avatar of the god of moonlight of the past. This time Luo Ge has different experiences, met different people apart from the old ones.
Felt a little bad for Lu Sheng when he died. After all, Lu Sheng was quite pitiful as a child, and only his shifu, the god of moonlight was there for him to hold his hand. I'm starting to find god of moonlight quite interesting.
Nice commentary!

wouldn't mind watching dramas on Christmas. 🙂
Any idea when the next two episodes will air?
I think Luo Ge will be a better version of Lu Li in the episodes to come...
Would live to read the novel.
I'm starting to find god of moonlight quite interesting.
