Yes I really don't know why so many people are jealous of Zhao Li Ying.Rating this drama so low even before it…
Yeah right. Even Wang Yibo is so good. Took me forever to get over The Untamed (Actually I didn't, until I watched anime, audio drama, read manga and novel).
And for Zhao Liying, I watched almost all of her most famous dramas starting from Boss & Me. And she's so pretty in every one of those dramas but these haters just have to chose her marriage photo. It makes me so angry!
Such jealous people are there who gives such low rating,,ok just wait when the drama will release you guys will…
Yes I really don't know why so many people are jealous of Zhao Li Ying. Rating this drama so low even before it airs, even her Display Picture is changed to that of her marriage certificate, just to not let her look pretty. How dumb.
What's even more annoying is that there's a 2nd season which completely ruins this drama. In the 2nd season, not just the female lead actress is changed, the female lead's personality changed 180° and even the Male lead changes who is like a shitty replacement of Rou Bai aka Yang Yang.
So, do yourself a favor and don't watch the 2nd season, so as not to further annoy yourself.
Sorry to burst your bubble buddy but there are no more episodes.Just like me, you probably watched the uncut version…
Yeah, I hope so too. But that's probably not happening because the demand for S2 has always been very high but it's still not announced till now. So it's probably not happening anymore. And also I read somewhere that this drama suffered huge losses due plagiarism and had compensate for the same. So producers probably won't pick it up again.
I loved this show up until it ended in the worst way. I'm so disappointed. My DramaList says this drama is 67…
Sorry to burst your bubble buddy but there are no more episodes.
Just like me, you probably watched the uncut version that is 58 episodes. There is a cut version that is 67 episodes, but the ending of both versions is basically the same ruthless, worst cliffhanger ever ending.
If you saw that Yu wen Yue died and Chu Qiao supposedly awoke her hidden powers, so yep, that is the end. Don't expect any more episodes. Here, I am, still waiting for the Season 2 which is probably never going to come. So, I read the novel to soothe myself a little. But the novel has many differences with the drama, so that doesn't help much.
So, I want to put this right in front: The Untamed is a low budget web drama, unlike Eternal Love and Nirvana…
Well said!
It's not that this drama is perfect, in fact, contrary to it, it has a lot of loopholes.
But the reason I call it a masterpiece is because it has such charm that makes use love it and get severe withdrawal symptoms, despite its imperfections.
Nobody denies that the show has a fair share of shortcomings, but the fact that it has such magnetism despite being hindered by Chinese censorship that it makes the audience unable to move on, makes it a masterpiece.
For everyone thinking about starting this drama or not, giving this drama a chance, wondering if it's really that…
This comment should be pinned to the top.... it expresses the viewers' feelings exactly.
I remember that I was really thinking a lot before watching it....whether I should watch it or not.....the poster looks awesome but the genre is not romance....and bla bla bla. Then I read in a comment here under a spoiler tag, that this drama has romance under the disguise of bromance, so I gave it a go. And I'm so glad I did!
Otherwise my life would be incomplete by missing such a gem!
Damn! I just can't get over this one, no matter how hard I try.
Why is the story so small....let it extend a bit more.
I've already watched the drama once, then watched the anime, read the novel, read the manhua, again watched the anime, listening to the audio drama and now I'm again watching the drama and patiently waiting for the remaining anime episodes and mahua chapters.
God knows when the manhua would finish,... till then, I can't completely move on from this unforgettable story.
Are there any recommendations for any drama that has similar plot line, messages, or good acting!?
Ok, the wording...there's some that should be unpack here. Firstly, the story of the novel in which this drama…
And if I am to compare this drama to "Noble Aspirations" which is of same genre(+romance), has a decent rating, and somehow even gives similar feels, I like "the Untamed" much much more than "Noble Aspirations".
The reason mainly being it's story, messages it gives, character depth, acting skills, and of course the chemistry.

Firstly, I agree with every word @Seira_Mili7 said here.
And actually I don't really know why this series has a bromance tag when it is clearly much more than bromance even in the drama (with the censorship barrier). It is not bromance, it is romance.
And good romance at that.....I am straight but I still love the couple's chemistry. And it makes gives much more satisfaction to see them together than most romantic cdramas out there.
Second, this drama is definitely not over-rated. It is a strictly plot driven drama with romance as icing on cake.
So, asking a question like "is the high rating because of bromance only?" is like asking "Is bromance all this drama has?". And it is seriously insulting to a masterpiece like this one and can definitely offend hardcore fans.
the song hummed by lwj in the xuanwu cave when healing wwx (called wangxian -- a portmanteau of their names)it…
There is one more thing I am curious about. It's about the end.
I want to ask, is the new Nie clan leader(the I-dont-know-it-all one)(the one who holds the fan) evil or just manipulative?
Why did he go through all the trouble to save Mo xuanyu and all that? Was it really just to take revenge for his brother? I don't think so. Given how smart he is since he was able to execute it all yet was able to hide his intentions for so long, couldn't he have taken revenge for his brother on his own? Why bother going so far?
Also, what was the thing that was burried inside the temple? The real one that Jin clan leader wanted?

She was badass in Princess Agents. Still waiting for Season 2 :(

It doesn't feel good to see a spoiler on the first comment itself.
But then I heard it's gonna be Xiao Zhan, i was like ?

So I guess the Nie sector leader was either smart since the start or became smart during the timeskip.
Or will they get another movie?

This series is something else I guess.
I don't know Chinese so I don't pay much attention to the lyrics of songs.
