I've heard many things from the book were changed for the drama, and that's why storytelling it's not that good overall. I don't particularly mind CGI being bad if the story is good. Some archs are fine, but the villains are so boring really and second leads too, mostly. At least xie yun and zhou fei are really cute together.
It really has cliches used before, but the main thing is I never could ship the main characters for real considering everything bo wan did, and being manipulated it's no excuse for me.
I never really hated ye seo because she was a product of her parents raising her and their behavior, and truly seo jin never paid for what she did, but I mean she is the main character so I guess it was kinda expected she would end up like this, so... But either way, we never got to see hye na being pushed to her death, I really wanted to see if the coach told her something before that, guess we will never know. But seriously only a few months left for him to graduate and woo joo just goes off to see the world, and he could do that just after he was done with school, was that really hard to wait for really? He went to jail, he should've learned how to be a little more patient really. And the book, I also wanted to see more about it, it was actually thinner than I expected, maybe she cut a lot of necessary stuff after all she still lives there in the castle But I enjoyed this series, it's not perfect but it's great enough
At this point, I hope that they randomly announce a air date out of the blue before airing it like they did with…
No, they literally just dropped overnight The Wolf with no warning at all, at least they warned about My Strange Friend airing soon beforehand. But yeah maybe next year it will finally air.
The first half was s fine just like most kdramas are, fast paced, filled with suspense, mystery and just the right dose of drama, but the second half got lost a bit, some unnecessary dragging scenes and pushing the same problem of her distrust over him. But overall it was great, the main actor really portrayed this mentally disturbed man he was supposed too, and you get to see pretty early on he was unfairly made out to be the bad guy, and good to see her acting like a professional dectetive and investigating him, but still going with her gut, instead of blindingly believing the rumours he was the murderer.
I watched 11 eps and I can't believe I'm thinking of dropping now. It was good at first, though. There are some unnecessary things and it gets draggy I think.
I love how Jinxia is always thinking about money and when she cooked the meals she didn't spend a penny haha she reminds me a little of Sang Sang from Ever Night
I started watching this some months ago but thought it was moving too slowly, but I still can't remove this from my on hold list. I remember there is angst and some complicated political scene. Does it gets even more emotionally heavy after ep 8 or it gets better?
They should have made this into 10 eps max because even though I knew I had to follow the illogical configuration of these worlds, some things stopped making sense on the second half and especially how could he ask her to erased everything and pass off as a dream?! Now I get he was trying to save her, this noble idiocy trope most asian dramas have, but she literally could have drawn anything else to help them both stay safe and the same goes for the ending, before her father died, even though he lost his purpose... I liked it overall, but the person who wrote this has a very creative imagination but lacked some in plausibility I think. Guess I will just stick to first half, really.
I just want to say that although Heaven Official's Blessing and Mo Dao Zu Shi were written by the same author,…
I agree, they must be considered separately. But HOB will undoubtedly have to be more majestic than TU because there's gods, celestial court, HC's city and palace, and so on. But TU will always be first for me, at least.
why is everyone expecting this to be good? Is this a novel adaptation? I love Xiao Zhan's acting but still just…
Firstly, it was filmed back in 2017 but they didn't released even after three years and apparently cut some episodes to make it shorter, and secondly, yes also because of xz, after what happened in February we are dying to see him again. But I guess the book is good too, I don't know.
I think I've already seen enough of this type of drama to guess is a common theme that the man must keep a secret about the most important things that can affect the life of the woman he loves from her.. I mean as much as I enjoy those dramas, they should change this trope, it would be refreshing.
Why do kdramas always depic most police officers as stupid, useless and incompetent? Really, its kind annoying how they only do something at the end of a series. But at the end, I guess he developed somee kind of double personality with Mo Joon(?
YA'LL WTF WAS THAT ENDING??? Idk why but I was kinda expecting it, I love Xiao Zhan but his character is infuriating.…
I haven't read the novel, but people say they are good friends there so apparently Yan Bingyun stabbed Fan Xian as part of a plan to deceive the prince, its a speculation. We'll see.
