what if your enemy is your greatest ally? this is exactly what this is about... never have palace politics been so riveting to me, but wow, this takes my anticipation to the next level. really really underrated show!
not exactly... but neither is it sad. for her, she does get a good ending, but thats not to say that it is romanced…
totally understand! i didnt like the fl tbh, in looks - at that point but i did eventually fall for her charms lol she grew on me, plus epic character.
my best advice is just try it perhaps, you never know if the plot is good enough to grab you in, ignoring the way he looks LOL. it has that 9.0 rating for a reason
but of course if you just dont like that, thats all okay too! if you do try, let me know how it goes, id love to hear^^

sorry for the late response! but actually, the ml and fl do not change bodies LOL.. to describe it, the FL swapped souls with a guy from modern day era. so FL is essentially a man at heart ahaha but not literally. the drama explores how she changes, she basically becomes the best version of herself.
in fact, i loved the ML in here, this is the first drama (apart from CLOY) that he has made a great impact on me and I watched this before his scandal. Safe to say, I enjoyed his character a lot, I think he nailed the acting on this one too.

there is chemistry between her and both the FL and ML and also ML's brother/guard. It is pretty funny that the FL liked her to, but they worked together in the end. Although she (In Ah's character) was devoted to the ML, it was sort of a love triangle because ML's brother liked her a bit too. There is a bit of romance, but not much. The relationship between her, the FL and ML is something to really keep you interested, because In Ah's character and the FL had bad feelings towards each other due to one big misunderstanding. Now that FL has changed, that relationship has changed too - both became badass women!
Personally, I shipped her the most with ML's brother, because you could see how much he liked her whilst she was all into ML. And if i were to be even more honest - ML only liked her because of that misunderstanding. He assumed that she saved him, but it was actually FL. In Ah's character never told ML that it was FL who saved him, but rather used that misunderstanding and situation to get closer to ML. Nevertheless, I don't hate her! I understood why she did what she had done. However, when I was watching whilst it aired, I didn't like her character because of what she had done and still had the audacity to be wrong and strong. But that's where her character development comes into play and everything clears up.
So in the end, who's the main couple really? No doubt, ML and FL. Her and ML's brother had great roles, but romance wise, they don't get much.
Does In Ah have a romance plot? Like a love interest? HEA?
not exactly... but neither is it sad. for her, she does get a good ending, but thats not to say that it is romanced based. her character was great! give it a shot if youre unsure, you're definitely to love it.
Finally! Someone that really understands how much I will ship the FL with the ML and not SL. If there is a SL, just makes me root for the main couple even more and I absolutely start to find things to nitpick and not like the SL at all.
Unnecessarily drawn out. Half the events that happened, didn't need to. The show would've run fine without them. This show has been compared alot to Queen for Seven days, sadly, it didn't make it as much. It is dragged out way too much, all of this could be done in 16 episodes comfortably. The endings the antagonists received were not even satisfying! This show is good, but not great. Mediocre at best ://
Kudos to the writer for playing with our feelings in the last episode. Because at the first, we see the skeleton and the necklace. Throughout this episode, it's being passed from one to the other and it makes us think and hope that it's not who we expected. In the end, it was. Well, another heart-breaking drama, and my heart is definitely shattered. I bawled from beginning to end of this one.
This drama makes me want to know more about the Gwangju Uprising.
Have you seen the movie, "Taxi Driver"? If not, definitely have a look, it delves into the Gwangju Uprising, especially from the beginning, when Martial Law was placed into full effect.
im down anytime for any other drama too!
