Since i watch chinese version, the plot was interesting everything was connected, they add calligraphy, poem, costume scholar too make accent of chinese. Wen bin/wen xi was 漂亮书生 (real name of this drama in chinese version) “beautiful/pretty scholar”. I don’t know why in english change into “in a class of her own”. That’s mean wen bin at that time was look so pretty scholar and make everyone amazing with her talent and pretty face. Not only wen bin/wen xi, FCJ, LZX, YLX also so handsome and talent (while in study they all become friend and help each other) this was a plot hilarious part. (Funny part)
They also add plot as serious part: Which they all parent Mr ding was friend with wen bin’s father but he didn’t know that mr xue family was save by LZX’s father. Mr ding only know after background check wen bin actually is wen xi... and because Mr xue was Mr ding friend so he agree to not telling wen bin was a girl (keep her save). While Mr ding talking to LZX’s father he told FCJ’s father say order kill Mr xue and LZX’s elder brother to died. But FCJ’s father denied ordering that... then who the hell order kill using governor name... (is still mystery and they told Mu ling is a part of this) Mu ling was mu xiao man’s father...and the story to be continued... hate this waiting every 1 week
