Yea it was heavily edited, almost entirely the story was edit. That's mean not just small extra scene, but all story was change. This will ruin the original story. And i heard this change story after zanilia sign the contract, she has a right to be upset. I heard production will be focus on 2 female support role more then the female main lead. Why did they ask zanilia to be female main role, but turn out she just a support role, and getting less and less more scene. (I know zanilia still shine among them, but this is too cruel) I could see they scene together, zanilia look without make up dirty clothes and the support female full make up+ look charming and want to take zanilia shine away) I was so #($&$#(*#$(&&*&#$& emosional!!!

After i finished this drama, i really recommend you all to watch this drama, without see negative comment here (Sometime annoying me). I really like until the end, and i didn’t think this is cliffhanger at all. And could made me satisfied until the ending. From what i see they want to make season 2 or another story what so ever, this still accept for ending like this.
I almost don’t want to watch this ending after so many bad comment, gladly i don’t miss this drama.

Hai yun fan say he like to be opposite group with wang lu (like a rival) But not as a enemy. So even there are different sect they didn’t hate each other. Have a rival like wang lu seem like a challenge to Hai yun fan.
I don’t know in drama they did change a lot. Too short (Episode 37 in drama, but in manga ch 400 still on going) then make hai yun fan the same group with wang lu. They make it fast introduce everything in episode 17-30. I think they cut the boring staff in that manga and make this drama interesting.
And i was really enjoy this drama until episode 30, i couldn’t wait for next episode. XD

Different opinion maybe yes. From what i see the sequel didn’t ruin the original drama which i was gladly and add again Yin iron & New handsome villain which make the story interesting. Why LWJ (leader cultivate) is not coming? This is just small matter for LWJ and he believe lan sizhui and WN (ghost general) can handle it. If not Lan Sizhui can just call for help (like in mo village right?). After WN and Lan Sizhui investigate it, turn out it was happen because piece Yin iron. Yin iron was serious matter, you say yourself. The cultivate world will be chaos again, if yin iron exist, so they hurry up bring back Yin iron to Gusulan sect.
You say “i like it” yes i like it because it didn’t ruin original drama. And add another info about yin iron too which lead to “Fatal Journey”
From what i don’t understand, you say you don’t like it and want the story to be different For example like: WWX and LWJ should be in Fu Feng city (for no reason WWX and LWJ was elope in Fu feng city?) and The Yin iron suddenly exist again. Then the MC will be WWX and LWJ right? Or you want Yin iron to be completed destroyed not come back, the story will be flat with no conflict,no drama so so story. So at that time WN and Lan Sizhui just doing night hunt kill a few weak zombie and save the city. This is kinda boring if the story like that.
This is why i still think weird why ppl say this is no relate to The untamed? Are you revered with novel or drama? I would say this is drama live action (just have different story and timeline too) Maybe This drama already planning 3 sequel that’s why they put the hole many time.
From what i say before “better you skip it, if you don’t like it”. The negativity just too big from the first time watch it, and you start criticize from A-Z (make this movie just too ugly and unacceptable from your PoV)

I like all about cql the drama, manhua, donghua, audio, novel, not just sequel. Every story was connected piece by piece.

It didn't ruin cql, that just the story in drama and 3 sequel. In Episode 23 , LWJ and LXC say 3 yin iron destroyed. But didn't show it was destroyed. At that time wen rouhan die stab by MY. And NMj was fainting to much injurer. When that time someone come in and steal 3 yin iron without everyone notice it. Wen ruohan busy choke WWX to died MY busy stabbing wen Ruohan NMJ was fainted because of injurer LXC,JC and LWJ busy killing zombie Everything was chaos and someone just have time steal Yin iron and make illusion? I think it will explain in "Fatal Journey"
The untamed didn't told how the use all Yin iron. In the movie tell everything. The untamed yin iron (middle part) only tell: 1. Revive zombie 2. The house was kill by yin iron wasn't peaceful, repeatedly when they kill. (Like yueyang chang sect) 3. Gather resentful energy 4. Can make a puppet like (wen ning, songlan, NMJ)
The Living Dead yin iron (outside part) tell: 1. Can create illusion ( like goddess dance in dafan mountain, or anything else) 2. Can take spirit and grievance soul (so lan sect can not do inquiry to body no spirit) and people think soul eating monster doing. Soul eating monster only eating soul who is already die, not a living soul. (Explain in The living dead) "This part The living dead is telling about The untamed episode 2"
It maybe silly manner to watch again, after all this movie connect to The untamed. I don't know why people some say this ruin cql or not good. From what i see The living dead just different story about WN and lan sizhui, because they both was serious person the story just become serious, horror and good action.
