I haven’t watched that one yet. Just looking at the cover, the ML’s hairstyle reminds me of Mark Chao’s Yehua in TMOPB. People will nitpick anything. It’s either you’re too pretty or too ugly. 😩

Even if Zhang Ling He doesn’t have makeup on and he’s just in his armor, I don’t think it’ll make a difference. He’d still look handsome. He can’t have dirt and blood on his face in every scene. 🙄 Plus, it’s fiction. Not a documentary.

There you go. I agree with this. If it was a documentary, then it should be like Peter Ho. But this is an idol drama. Let people enjoy things.

Well done on this review! These were all the things I wanted to say. Team Run Yu! I totally forgot about that scene when Xu Feng asked to meet her but they made love when she was still engaged to Run Yu. That pissed me off sooo much!

Same. I mean, it’s not bc I enjoy it, it’s just that I thought I was the only one who can see that this drama is not that good as people say. But we all have different tastes in drama.

I was team Run Yu. I did NOT like the main leads. I was skipping a lot of the scenes. I’m glad most FL leads in Cdramas are brave and strong. Not damsels in distress like Jin Mi. Good lordy. I almost dropped this drama. Anyway, your review was spot on.
