this is such a fun drama!! a bit nonsensical at some places but considering its comedy its fineeee... what kind of bugs me is that I can't shake the feeling that some scenes feel AI made....
yk even though I wonder whether they will be even able to resolve all the plot points that have literally just been piling up, this drama has really good tension especially between the main leads.. you can literally feel the internal struggles of seori
forcing a sympathetic arc for a deadbeat abusive cheating father is mental illness btw. and kijun constantly trying…
i don't know about that.. i think it showed how kijun has a different perspective on life/dealing with family compared to ina. also i don't think there was any sympathetic arc for the father, he was a very minor character (he wasn't even on screen for maybe even 5 minutes throughout the whole show so there was no time/story that could lead the audience to even feel some sympathy for him imo) but important for us to view more of ina's emotions such as her still deciding no contact even though she knows he is sick/in hospital and the fact that she holds resentment and her view on relationships even. I think it showed more of ina managing complex emotions that are something normal - feeling resentment but also thinking maybe one day she could've forgiven him but now she can't have that choice as well. It showed us that even someone so cut throat as ina who managed such high stakes challenges in the company also struggles to navigate through something so unexpected as death..
This show deserves a higher rating!!!!! It is so good and this is genuinely the healthiest relationship I've ever seen in a kdrama. I love how they addressed their differences and the mundane struggles of a relationship. Also I need more shows to do bloopers at the end loool it was so enjoyable.
This was a really easy to digest drama, you got the comedy, you got the action you also have touching moments. I love how the drama never went way to serious when we were with our main leads, keeping their personalities throughout and giving them development as well! I think there was a really really good balance between the comedy and the serious stuff. Would 1000% recommend!!
Tbf i both liked the plot and don't like it- it feels that a lot of the plot was able to move just because the ML and the FL had plot armour, if they didn't the drama would have likely ended much more differently... I feel like the writing was weak at some points and compensating at other points. I see a lot of ppl not feeling that the body swap makes sense for the plot and I lowkey agree but from what I'm seeing its basically a device to keep the plot running. Though the conditions of the body swap don't make sense to me in the end oh well it is what it is.. it is still an enjoyable drama but you just gotta overlook some of the weak plot points imo
this truly is a yearner galore type of drama in a way,,, like the LM being a yearner (but a coward at the same time imo) turned him into a villain, the ML and SML being yearners for FL and SFL respectively but also wanting revenge while trying to keep ppl alive... FL's adoptive parents and aunt- like everyone is a yearner but they have made their choices on how yearn lol
left minister is an idiot to be honest. why does he even want his daughter to be the Queen? If anything he should…
honestly that's my biggest question too!! like now we know why he was not happy with the previous king and his hunger for power but how much more would be enough for him? we can see that he himself has started to question why he is doing all of this considering his lady is not even sane atp. Is he going to continue for the sake of it or is he going to stop???? he definitely doesn't love his daughter imo, she is just a tool for him to use
guys am I missing some lore? What was with the cameos at the end? Will we have more of this series or are they preparing for something new in the same 'universe'?????
he definitely doesn't love his daughter imo, she is just a tool for him to use
