I hope they'll follow the ending scene in the novel. I don't want to see King Jeongjo being left alone just like the Scarlet Heart ending.

I've been thinking about this too! :( I was wondering what if real-life Deok Im accepted him sooner. It's hard to compensate 15 years of waiting to 5 years of marriage that tragically ended (losing Deok Im + 3 children). I read somewhere that their married life was happy so I couldn't imagine the pain King Jeongjo went through after she died. I was able to read some parts of his epitaph too after Deok Im died and the contents crushed my heart. :(

100% agree with you, plus I do understand why Deokim would reject him eventho he hot :)
Yeah, I think the circumstances call for the rejection phase to be dragged :)

This is also something I wanna point out too. I'm seeing people not understanding why Deok Im keeps on rejecting San when she already explained enough on eps 11 and 13.

I understand others' sentiments saying that the romance in this drama is slow burn and the 'rejection' is being dragged on for too long. But pondering about the fact that the characters portrayed here are based on actual historical figures, I can't help myself from being too accepting of what's happening thus far. Actual King Jeongjo waited for the actual Deok Im for 15 years and their marriage life was just short-lived too 'coz of the mishaps. I'm pretty sure the production team wouldn't want to distort that. I jumped to this drama understanding that this may be the case here as well, and yeah, I'm still enjoying. I'm going until the end haha!

Hah~ I've seen bunch of spoilers already and I'm not even complaining. Keep them coming please. Is this still…
I even saw a vid of TRS director crying and saying what is she gonna do once Deokim dies (I just referred to other's translation). Looks like Deokim's death will really be a part of this drama *sobs*

HAHA FL really tested my patience to an intolerable point. That one scene where she's complaining to her friend about the seemingly unjust things ML is ordering her, I had my fair share of eye-rolling episodes there. Like girl, you really feel victimized for following ML's house rules when he's doing you such a huge favor of letting you stay in his house when he isn't obliged to? Isn't it basic manner to clean up your own mess? Also, the numerous times she broke the clause of "not causing trouble for Party A" and Party A just letting it pass. Something is really wrong with FL's character and logic. I dunno anymore.

Title Hello Mr. Gu Spoiler
Umphkay...! Done watching until episode 10. Sad to say, I am dropping it. I can't take it anymore. I wasn't feeling the chemistry of the main leads. The ML is okay tbh, like he's carrying his role well. But the FL, I wasn't really feeling the same with her. I find her acting awkward most of the time. Understandably though, it's her first drama I think. She'll get better I guess after a few more works. The trailer looks promising, but I'm disappointed with the FL's role. If I were a guy, I wouldn't fall in love with a girl like the FL haha! ML already got his own personal and work issues, let alone his mental trauma, and the FL is not helping him that much. Well, she did helped ML one way or the other, but she's a burden to him in so many occasions. Isn't she doing a good job for other people, but why is she such a klutz when it comes to doing favor for the person who gives her benefits the most? I. DON'T. UNDERSTAND. They are forcing the slap and kiss idea here way too much that it's unbearable. It's just my opinion though and I am not forcing anyone to agree with me. That said, I'm out.

I remember being excited about this drama, but now, I am close to dropping this. Perhaps, this type of (nonsensical) drama isn't for me. I am now on ep 5 and very much annoyed with the FL. I can't remember genuinely smiling so far - more like smirking I guess. The FL is irritating, childish, irrational... The ML saved her from a hopeless situation, trying his best to tolerate her, but there she is, giving him attitude and raising her voice/argue whenever he corrects her. We normally should feel grateful in these kinds of situations haha! I am still hopeful for the plot to get better and to witness the FL's character development the soonest. Otherwise, I'll totally say goodbye and move on to the next one.
