just finished watching ep 22 and it was mind-boggling! i am left with too many questions now...

why did Buyeon lock Naksu's soul in her body? on what purpose? am I the only one who missed that?

was that really the end of Buyeon? how pitiful of her! so all this time, this powerful priestess only served as the vessel of Naksu's soul in the story? i don't see the justice in that.

i'm so confused of what Master Lee said. so the body of Buyeon with Naksu's soul in it has the possibility of recovering the divine powers. I thought it was Buyeon's soul who possesses it. if she's gone, how will it be recovered?

also, the parallelism of Master Seogyeong and Jin Seolran. the drought currently prevailing in Daeho. if another rite is performed, then there is a possibility that another ice stone will be formed. and then Daeho chaos part 2. to be saved this time by Jang Uk and Jin Buyeon (with Naksu's soul)?

i know my questions all surround Buyeon. she's such a mystifying character to disappear just like that. she was grandly described in s1 and that was the end of her? but well, there're still 8 more eps and I'm waiting for my questions to be answered along the way.

anyway, this season overall restored my giddiness and excitement. can't wait for another weekend to see the next eps!

P.S. I don't mean to ask anyone my questions above. they're just questions in my mind that I want to let out somewhere haha! I hope Hong Sis will not present us with shallow justifications given how they bewildered us over the course of 30 episodes. I'm a long time fan of Hong Sis and have seen instances when their plot twist isn't really "twisting" and the reveal isn't really "revealing". given that they put so much effort in writing this story, i'm looking forward to a satisfying ending.

this could've been one of my fave dramas this year if not for the ending. the ending messed the past 11 episodes up. nevertheless, I'm still rewatching some of my fave scenes coz they're fun!

Am I the only one who's still confused about the whole Madam Yoo thingy? :s

My love for Suyeon grows in each ep as much as my anger towards Minwoo haha! And I thought Junho will confess his feelings first, but our straightforward Young Woo did it before he could. Aigoo! Ep 7 gave me mixed emotions, but overall good and enjoyable!

If ever Buyeon wakes up, I strongly believe there is good enough reason for her to do so. She could be one of those who'll help prevent the impending chaos about the misuse of the soul ejector, just like what happened 200 years ago with the help of Master Seogyeong and Jinyowon leader Seolran. With that, her character shouldn't be left out. I understand you tho - you could be saying this out of attachment to JSM as Naksu/Mudeok. But everything should eventually fall into place.

At this point, I'm looking forward to Bu Yeon "waking up" from her body. I bet she'll come out when Jang Uk and Naksu face a great trouble. She's been helping the two thus far. I'm so curious about her!

I tried brushing the idea off, but I kept thinking why LJH reacted the way he did when they were talking about the military service thingy. Something suddenly crossed my mind - could he be exempted from military service for a reason? I read somewhere that people with health issues are exempted from active military service duty, and instead, do non-active duties like social work. LJH previously did social work for people with disabilities...? But I may be wrong. My brain, don't overthink and just take things as they are...! Aaackkk!!!

Also, I think Taesan CEO is YW's mom and not JH's. I already had this feeling since the slipped-off wedding dress case wherein Taesan CEO was kinda regretful to have not found a talented attorney like YW. Hanbada CEO seems to already know YW's background - even her mom - prior to hiring her... And the look on Hanbada CEO's face when she that in the car... It's really sus. But let's see how the story unfolds. I just want everyone to be happy!

Guess we all have to thank Mudeok for protecting Naksu and Jang Uk - Naksu from going wild and Jang Uk from being soul-shifted? Mudeok is the biggest mystery to me now! She's indeed one powerful woman.

When Master Hemp Lee said, "Do not worry. I am sure he is fine. She will protect him."

When Park Jin asked Master Hemp Lee, "Are you certain that the ice stone was indeed destroyed by Master Seo Gyeong and the leader of Jinyowon 200 years ago?"

Could this be related to the real Mudeok? My mind is going crazy right now.

I am utterly dumbfounded by how great the episode was I'm having chills right now! Jang Uk-Mudeok duo is killing it!

episode 8 is by far the best episode of this drama for me!!! i never counted how many times i screamed out of excitement!!!

Eun Bin is really an amazing actress. It hasn't been long since she's taken a role of a King, and now an extraordinarily adorable attorney!

just finished watching the first two episodes and they really made me smile! i love it so much! very interesting! i think this one's gonna be another comfort drama for me♡

the ending showed how crazy Minhu and Yesul went after they lost their abilities. sooo, does it mean they are having a hard time adjusting to their new normal that it even negatively affected their relationship? really crazy, I don't even know how to describe it. I was hopeful for a proposal ending, but they showed us their childish bickerings instead. what?

also, my heart ached after seeing that Minhee is no longer on the second half of ep 11 and whole ep 12 :(

I loved this drama overall, a solid 8.5 for me.

this is a good theory though and makes sense too. but I wonder how would this relate to the treason part. I mean, if the King is still alive then he could prove Jang Uk to be his son later on. also, Jin Mu seems to be trying so hard to eliminate Jang Uk too. ah this is too complex for my brain but I still enjoy the drama haha

Oh, yes I agree that Uk is a dignified character. What I meant by him being pitiful is the situation he was thrown in. I mean I pity him 'coz he does not deserve the treatment he's getting so far. His birth wasn't his fault and I pity him for bearing the consequences. I could have explained better.

that too! the blue mark! that would be the strongest proof. If Do Hwa doesn't know what that means, then why? She could at least know that as Gwanju's wife, right? If she's not genuinely aware what that means, it would be a different story. If Do Hwa still slept with the former King even after seeing the blue mark and she knows what it means, that's a different story too.

now that you said this, it got me thinking too - was Jang Uk really the former King's son? Wouldn't Do Hwa recognize the changes in her husband's behavior during those 7 days? also, Jang Gang and Do Hwa's relationship could have been at odds during Do Hwa's pregnancy since Jang Gang believes she's not bearing his child. I don't know anymore.

4 eps and Jang Uk's character is nothing more than pitiful for me. Not sure if there's still more mystery about him than his birth background we've known so far. It's not like it's his fault that he was born out of soul-shifting. Jang Gang didn't want to kill him either. But well, the treason part makes sense though since there's no witness to disprove that it's indeed the former King's order to shift souls with Jang Gang. But thinking about it too, the former King is claiming Jang Uk to be his, but what can he exactly do now that he's dead? Jang Uk is just bearing all the consequences. I don't know how the writers will twist all these to make the story logical. Nonetheless, I am enjoying this drama's unpredictability. It's making me use my brain haha!
