The good thing about this show is even though it was not a very good written script yet it was engaging enough that you don't feel bored while watching it....the romance was simple but the couple were cute and had good chemistry....some side characters were toxic ....but the misunderstanding parts were not filled with angst...so overall will not say a great watch but a decent one though

Well father is not completely blameless ...when ever there was a decision when he should have discussed with the family...he would just go with anything...he never played of a father or husband when he had too...and it's not like he was a victim ...he chose to be one ...just because he was too lazy to get into an argument ..he would just accept anything...his daughter have even stopped expecting anything from him...that's also one of the reason mingyue is like this...and why her mother was doing everything... mingyue's mother was right...but his father also needs to share the blame...plus he never said anything this whole time and when one day he realised things are getting out of control...the best solution he came up with was a divorce...plus I think Mingyue's mother also regrets her way of treating the family
