I liked mostly everything but the In-ho character. I understand that he's supposed to be comic relief but I found his acting to be over done and mostly distracting instead.
Pretty much a summary of the cast members and their feelings towards YW atm:
CA: "This scumbag led me on this entire time."
CH: "This scumbag led my sister on this entire time and hurt her."
JH: "He isn't sincere. He switched from CA to JW out of nowhere."
SS: "This jerk used me to get information about my brother."
JS: "I knew he was trash the moment I met him."
YJ: "Why is he butting in all of sudden???"
YH: "Wish he liked me but YJ is better."
JW: "OhMyGossssh. He DOES like me. Yay! Gotta make it seem like it's JH's fault that we didnt work out. Time to act distant and nitpick him so I can be with YW instead."
The cast should date whoever they want, but geez. Be tactful about it.
Laughing how Jiwon told Jahyung that he's like the first bias in an idol group that gets ditched after they get to know his personality. WHEN in reality that's exactly describing Youngwoo to a T.
YW was the most popular male participant but his atrocious personality has turned off 90% of the cast and audience.
Girl, your judgement sucks. Just admit you want the objectively "hottest" guy. She gave CH a thoughtful/nicely explained rejection. I don't understand why she can't do the same for JH.
I take everything back I said about wanting all the participants leaving the show happy and healed. No, I want that piece of garbage called YW to suffer. I have never hated a participant so much on a k-dating show as I do towards him. He's insufferable, manipulative, immature, and a such a freaking doucebag. All the charm I found in him in the beginning turned out to be fake, just like his entire personality. Good luck trying to start your influencer life when you're losing followers left and right, and gaining haters by the dozens.
JW, what the hell girl? JH has to go through many obstacles and challenges to please you, but YW just needs to shower you with a wee bit of attention for your heart to settle on him. That's shady and contradicting to everything you have said. You were looking for a trophy in YW, but you lost a million pound of treasure in JH.
The way both YW and JW acted towards CA and JH parallels one another. Acting distant and pinning all the blame of lost interest on the other party. I hope JW and YW do choose each other, because CA and JH deserves better.
JH, you didn't get the girl but you truly won in the end. There's a reason why he's the golden boy of the season and the fan favorite. I have no doubt that his new wave of fame will bring him to his destined partner.
This show was my healing show in the beginning after the mess that was Transit Love 3. Who knew it would 1000x messier and give me more stress and frustration.
This isn't evil editing. Crappy people like YW and wishy washy people like JW exist, but so does genuine and loving people like JH, CA, SS, CH, and YJ. (I'm sorry, but JS, YH and JY falls somewhere in the middle. JS with his way of communication, YH with her wavering heart and JY who can't seem to take a hint.)
I think you invent a lot of excuses for men π and js got the backlash because while on a dating show he wanted…
No worries! I don't think I'm "inventing excuses for men" but I can see why you thought that. I do empathize with them. I love the enitire cast and enjoy having discussion about each episode every week with my friends and partner. Discussing online lately has been disheartening because comments get attacked for not being on the hating train. The negativity and witch hunt to cancel certain participants for their flawed human characteristics is uncalled for. Do I get why YW and JS are getting the most heat? Totally, but not everything is black and white and viewers forget that so many things get cut and edited to tell a certain story. I take everything with a grain of salt when it comes to reality tv.
You viewed JH and JW dissing YW for being an attention seeker, but I saw it as two people poking fun at their friend. Just like how they did Choa's gliding walk.
I'm not saying that YW and JS are holy righteous people either. How they executed certain situations weren't palatable but it doesn't warrant folks to bring out their pitch forks after them. It doesn't mean they're deserving of any less love.
But who knows, maybe I will finally jump on the YW hating game this week if he causes a rift between my YH/YJ JW/JH ship π€£. Jk, I want everyone to leave happy/healed/etc.
YW - I don't think the guy deserves all the backlash he's been recently receiving. It's a human reaction that he wants to take a step back after going on a real date CA and finding that they are incompatible. Better now than never. However, it IS his fault for not breaking things off cleanly. Homeboy keeps alluding that they should "date" other participants but at the same time is being so vague about it. Overall, I do think he's a nice guy. He just doesn't execute things well. PD is definitely hinting that he's somewhat interested in JW, which I'm curious to see unfold. JY did ask for his help on JH. I wouldn't be surprised if this is one of the reasons why he goes after JW lol.
CA - She's so sweet and it sucks that things between her and YW fizzled out. The other guys haven't approached her because everyone thought her and YW were a sure thing. (Props to JS for trying tho lol) I really don't see her matching up with anyone else. I'm sure her date with JH will be fun, but I'm sensing strong noona/dongseng vibes. I hope she has lots of fun and is able to heal on the rest of the Singapore trip.
JS - This guy lol. I know I'm in the minority when I say I like him haha. JS brings good content and he's doing what you're supposed to do on a dating show - DATE AROUND. I think people are reading too much into what he says because they want to villainize him (the same can be applied to YW).
CH - This man is just on vacation π. I don't think he has strong feelings for anyone. His rumored ex-girlfriend was extremely beautiful so I know he has game lol. I hope he has a fun time with SS on their date. But I get only "friend" vibes from them.
YH/YJ - They better be endgame. They're the only stable potential couple.
JY - You can't help but feel bad for her because for a while there she thought that she and JH were on the same page. When in reality, he was only texting her out of "politeness." Their dates did ick me though, especially the Singapore one when she asked him to wipe her mouth π . JH was clearly uncomfortable with it. Her heart is too set on JH so I don't see her changing her choice during their remaining time, but I hope she finds happiness outside of the show.
SS - Gosh, what a loveable girl. She probably has the best chemistry with JS and it's no wonder she keeps going back to him. She deserves the world and I support whatever choice she makes.
JW - My girl crush lol. I would LOVE to see JH and her choose each other at the end. They had the best chemistry and their banters were so fun. I'm trying to keep my expectations low though lol. Transit Love 3 and Heart Signal 4 taught me not to deeply ship any couple anymore π. Will she or YJ ever open an Instagram account?! I wish I could see some updates from them but totally understand if they want a more private life after being on the show.
JH - There's a reason why this man is the most popular among neitizens. He's an all rounder loveable goofball. I'm sure most of the cast members join to get their time in the limelight and then become somewhat influencers, but I can see JH keeping his day job and just taking the occasional sponsorships. I hope CA gets her healing date with him and that JW chooses him as her final date.
JH & JW - it's so funny that these two were my least favorite male and female participants from first impression but have gone to become my favorites.
JH appeared so fragile and standoffish in the beginning. He didnt play/hangout with the others as a group and hurt himself so easily. He totally gave me "princey/a bit snobby" vibes. But that quickly changed around episode 3-4 when it was revealed how big of a dork he was π.
JW was so "dark" compared to the other girls and I agree with her brother. Her makeup was too much! π However, she is really mature and I love how she articulate her words and entire personality.
And now I'm hard-core shipping them. All the "hints" from previous episodes have led up to this moment. Episode 11 was a delightful gift for all the Jaeji shippers.
Storyline had so much potential but the execution was poor. I had to drop after ep 12 and by then I was just fast forwarding through every scene.
This is my first time watching a drama by the ML and FL and while the ML's acting was okayish, the fl was atrocious. She had one expression the entire time. I wish she atleast did something different with her face but nope. We only got the same old pout with the bottom lip sticking out from her.
Does anybody know if the novel it was based off of is english translated and have a link to it?
Was JYB a soul shifter this entire time?!?! She was technically dead in the womb and Jin Seoul Ran's soul was placed inside of her. Yo, as far as I'm concerned, she can kick rocks after she helps Uk and the gang. Give the body back to Naksu. Naksu can live the rest life in that body just like Master Lee is using his.
I have a hunch we're not going to see killer assassin Naksu and I'm totally okay with that. That's not who she is anymore. She chose to give up that life when she fell in love and decided to marry Uk in part 1. And in part 2, even though Naksu regained her memories, she's still coming to terms with her identity. Her "gentle" version is the dominant personality as of the moment. If she chooses to pick up the sword and kick butt, cool. But I have feeling she's going to use JYB's divine powers to fight instead.
Part 1: "There's not enough romance!" Part 2: "They're focusing too much on romance!"
Just can't seem to please these viewers. I'm just accepting everything as is at the moment. AOS has been the only one thing I look forward to on the weekends. I'm so sad it's ending next week :(
Episode 7 put me through a range of emotional roller coasters.
Sigh, I knew what I was signing up for when I saw that the Hong Sisters were writing this. Their dramas usually have unsatisfying endings. With the recent story development, I'm fully expecting a sad or open ending.
Anyways, I LOVE that Jang Uk has accepted his feelings. Cant wait to see how he reacts when he finds out this his new love is his old love lol.
I was so sad in ep. 2 when we all thought JYB's soul was gone. Now I'm feeling the opposite and don't want her to come back haha.
And some of yall need to stop overreacting to the "CPR lips touching" scene between Yul and Naksu. What are you? Children? The prudish behavior among some comments here are astounding
Why do u think itβs an unpopular opinion? If he falls for this Nasku it would be because of their bickering…
It's because some fans here only want the OG/BA assassin Naksu persona, and others want the Country Bumkin Persona (which is silly because this was just a fake persona OG/BA assassin Naksu used to deceive folks haha). And I don't think it's necessarily because of the bickering since it seems Jang Uk bicker with everyone lol. This new Naksu doesn't see him as a monster like everyone else and have outright accepted him as who he is. They both have to deal with the fact that they're beings who aren't supposed to be alive and he seems to care more about her then he actually says (coming to her aid each time, etc). Jang Uk is probably building a rapport with someone for the first time in 3 years. I'm predicting that he's going to develop feelings and feel guilty about it since he can't forget about his "dead" lover only to resolve it when he find out that she's been his Naksu the entire time. Man, next week's episode cant get here faster. I,m sure many fans have so many theories just waiting to be answered haha
This is an unpopular opinion, but I'm okay with Jang Uk falling for this new version of Naksu. In the overall grand scheme of things, she is still Naksu's soul. It gives us a glimpse into who she would've been if she had been raised as Cho Yeomg and without the life difficulties. If Jang Uk falls for this Naksu without knowing that she was his Mudeok, I intepret that as he will always love Naksu's no matter who she is and what body she's in. There is no doubt that there's a attraction there for him.
Of course, I still want Naksu's memories to come back so she can kick some butt. But this innocent and witty Naksu isn't that bad either. She's so upfront with her words and feelings for Jang Uk. I want a kiss scene now!
As a viewer who has no attachments to the actors and advidly watching for the exciting storyline, I'm getting super tired of seeing all the comments about wanting to see Jung Somin instead. People who are dropping the show because they can't stand the fact that their precious actress isn't up there and coming here to attack/put down/discredit the new female lead, can ya'll just go away?
So far, GYJ has amazing chemistry with the male lead and I think the body switch was a great plot addition. How it happened? It's still a gawd dang mystery that hasn't been revealed yet. It's only the first episode and I'm not even expecting them to answer it in the 2nd one. It surprises me that so many people are expecting answers right away. Have none of yall watched a Korean drama before?
Sorry for the rant, but I'm honestly sick of bitter/impatient fans. We waited three months, we could a bit more for all the body switch answers.
With that being said, I enjoyed the 1st episode of the 2nd season. I think it was a good execution on summarizing what has happened in the last 3 years with each character. I can't wait to see how the story continues to develop. I wish we were getting 16 episodes instead of 10.
no drama has ever been able to present the same way after changing the face of main leads, even if it's only their…
Oh look. It's a whiny fan who's butt hurt about her favorite actress not returning so they feel the need to bring down another talented actress. How pathetic and immature.
also this is a webtoon made into a drama so if you want to complain, complain to all the people that make the…
Haha chill! I totally agree with you. I was being sarcastic about my comment if you read it clearly, hence the "how dare Sejeong have bangs when everyone else has it. She must be copying!" comment.
Like I implied, the ML's hairstyle isnt trademarked to specifically Park SeoJoon so people shouldn't make comparisons.
Overall, I really like the drama which I emphasized in my first paragraph. So please dont assume that I was complaining.
CA: "This scumbag led me on this entire time."
CH: "This scumbag led my sister on this entire time and hurt her."
JH: "He isn't sincere. He switched from CA to JW out of nowhere."
