I know you weren't seriously meant that when you said it but I still want to make a point in reply to that topic more to the sense, is while she loves money but to her TY is no.1 in her heart.

It is not about choosing TY and she get the money as well, more so to say, ignore the bride money. If TY doesn't have that, because of YH strong love for TY now she will choose TY over money even without the bride money that we know he has

I love that scene on an emotional level because while it always makes me cry but it was in a good way because they means it has successfully bring out the touching moment for me that I want to see.

This is why that is one of my favourite scene in the drama in terms of top acting and quality for a touching moment.

I don't mind angst as long as it leads to a touching moment

If you look back to episode 27, TY was more than prepared to take the HPS with him and give YH that free life away from those unwanted attention who wants to get their hands on HPS.

HPS fails to be in effect if TY is dead. That's been confirmed in the drama already. So if TY is dead HPS won't be effective since it's linked with TY.

The Life Exchange spell was his Nine Stars that he gave YH that when YH is at the verge of dying and is about to die, TY takes her place and die for her instead in exchange giving YH a second chance to live a normal life without the need for HPS to preserve her life anymore because if TY dies than HPS is no longer effective.

See what TY intention was in episode 27 when he was ready to die for her instead of going by what he knows will save him in the end by putting HPS back into her.

But in summary the HPS does bring out that theme that they live for each other because HPS being inside YH will preserve her life and TY not dying will keep the HPS in effect.

The Nine Stars is more bringing out the theme (message) that TY can sacrifice his life for her to give her a chance to live a normal life (without HPS being in effect)

Both brings out messages of how strong their love for each other is but just have a opposite way of showing it in terms of outcome.

It depends on the drama for me. If I'm okay and not obsess with that drama than I can watch another drama at the same time

Omg this is so relatable there!!! I am in the same boat too. I don't have anything against the main pair in Here we meet again (not yet anyway) but my mind just keeps coming back to TianHui and BFTB so I just go and click the previous episode and watch BFTB again 😅😅😅

You know when you really love a drama when no matter how much you tried to not think about it and watch other things to get your mind from missing that drama so much, but it failed and your mind just go back to thinking about that drama.

Honestly I know I can watch other things , and I have started watching Here we meet again(that was one I was looking forward to too) but it really doesn't help me relief this longing. Watched a episode, my mind go back to that drama...

And what is that drama? That's Back from the Brink (Hu Xin) for me..

I love how TY can joke back with her and not feel offended by that remark since before he probably will, but now this is a development. Or maybe just because YH is special hahaha

I was going to watch here we meet again but when I watch 1 episode of it my mind just to back to BFTB so that doesn't help...

I have nothing against Bai Lu since I love her character in Love is Sweet!! I just can't stand her character in TTEOTM FL (Li Su Su). It's her actions and what she shows me that I don't like. I don't know how many times she disappointed me when it comes to her love for TTJ (ML)

I know right. I also hope the arc about them not being able to touch each other won't drag because my heart can't take it. I want to see them being able to come to that conclusion where they can touch (not a permanent solution in relying on BXS cloak)... 😭

Wasn't the whole point of Life Exchange Spell (When TY gave YH his Nine Stars) was that if YH is on the verge of dying, the spell will take it's effect and TY will die in YH place instead?

The Life Exchange Spell (his Nine Stars) was to exchange his life for YH and if she dies, he dies in her place instead, so that YH can have a chance to live a "normal" life, like everyone else, where she doesn't need to use HPS to preserve her life anymore because TY exchange his life(when she's about to die) to die in her place instead to fulfil that condition.

That would also explain why in Episode 27, TY was well prepared to take his HPS with him, so this already reveals that if TY really die in YH place through Life Exchange Spell, then YH can have a second chance to live even when she doesn't have HPS anymore, because she no longer needs it(through what TY has given her that chance to live by this spell).

The reason why TY chose to not give HPS to YH despite he knew that it would save him from dying in YH place is because YH had said it to him several times already, she wanted to live a free life away from all the danger... She also made it clear that she just want to live her life in peace. TY as selfless as he was, he didn't mind dying in her place through this life exchange method because he just wants her to be able to live her life in peace and away from the danger. If the HPS is back into her then she will be the target to those people who wants to get their hands on it.

So if looking at it in this perspective, to me, the YH now can live even when HPS is no longer in effect when TY is gone, is because of this Life-Exchange Spell, "to exchange his life to her, and die in her place instead". She gets a second to live a normal life - without needing HPS to preserve her life.

At least.... That's how I understood it on my end...

It was one of the drama I was anticipating because I thought it was good. But I didn't like it because I dislike the FL and yes, I hated the ending on my end.
