I think the fact that Ms Lin said she didn't want to believe that Yan Tuo betrayed her and that she hope that her doubts is wrong shows that she did came to the point in caring for Yan Tuo on her side.
There are also situations where she told the other guy that she wanted to leave Yan Tuo out of the 'danger' side of their plans or something.
When she can show me she was hurt from Yan Tuo's betrayal, it shows me she came to care.
I am also among those in here who doesn't hate the fiends.
There is no white or black area in this. I felt like what Ms Lin always wanted was for them to live in the light and to blend in with the humans, so they don't need to live in the dark anymore.
Sure they need bloodbag to survive but that is no different from human feeding on animal meat so there's no difference just to be fair.
Also I find the fiends(the side to them who do not lose control and go insane) are much more interesting than those hunters imo.
Ofcourse I am purely basing on the drama since I didn't read the novel.
Just like how in other genre, human or immortals sees demon as evil, this isn't any different. I find myself tend to side with the other side since I love the grey area that those character portrays and they tend to be more interesting than the side of "good" because the side of "good" are mostly seen as hypocrites to me, not speaking of purely this drama but in the overall between good vs evil.
I actually put this drama on hold until it finish airing but then I got spoiled with the clips and ending now.
I really really love the dynamics and relationship between Liu Yan and Tang Lici and Liu Yan character is really appealing to me.
Although, I originally watched it for Luo Yunxi since he's my favourite actor and while I normally love my drama to have romance but I also don't mind bromance on my side here.
As a Liu Yan fan in this drama, I am really happy he got a second chance to live.
But what I didn't like is that all this came at the expense of Tang Lici sacrificing himself and everyone forgetting about him...
If he sacrificed himself, I wanted everyone to remember him and who he was and how important he is to all those that cared and love him. To be forgotten and not having a single person remembering him just make this so sad imo.
The ending to me is sad for Tan Lici but bittersweet in the overall sense and I somewhat felt it is subjective to which side you're looking at.
If everyone would have remembered Tan Lici, I would have accepted the ending and his sacrifice but nope, his existence is forgotten by all those he cared for 😭
But dw, Tan Lici, you will always be remembered by the fans who loved you or watched this drama for you.

I like to believe in this too. Since Sima Jiao did said he will find her again even though it is not part of the 3 realms but this time its in the modern world, which this makes his love for her transcends the three realms and makes it so romantic!!

First time watching Arthur Chen, well I would have seen him in Immortality if that ever gets release(like never!! 😭) 😫 i really love him as Sima Jiao at the beginning!! His character have been solid for me and I love how he use the truth spell on others to get the answer lol that is one less the miscommunication here.
I like the FL as well but I don't like the trope of how Shi Qinglv for manipulating and brainwashing LTY to hate and kill her lover Sima Jiao. It did made me 😑 at that trope though.
I felt like the drama kinda lost its appeals a little for me when it was the 18 year time skip. Hopefully it will pick back up once I watch more. Just finished watching ep 21
P.S (Ngl, at times I can't help but thinking of how I would have seen Arthur Chen as Moran in Immortality) but sad we never get to see that drama on our side here T.T

Not what we got in the end because there were scenes removed in the last minute and I will always hate those who got involved for deleting these scenes in the last minute...

I live for those BTS. I want to see all those TianZiyu moments in the BTS on my side. Hopefully one day they will release the director cut version on DVD or for us to watch on the official channel 😭😭
