Some say that Liu Jun (the actor who plays WS) scenes was increased due to his company influence to promote this actor because Revenged Love was getting so popular despite it was intended to be a low budget drama airing internationally.
Remember the pause of the drama where CJD said they need to fix up the drama due to dubbing issues for "better viewing experience"... well we know how the second half of the drama turned out.
I didn't want to believe that whole thing that rumour about Liu Jun company influence at first but honestly when you have scenes that doesn't make sense narratively speaking that the WS arc already got their closure... but why the heck do they have to put their scenes by having him flying all the way back from America just to mock Chi Cheng as WS stated that was his reasons it literally just make his character petty... we could have use those time more efficiently and focus on scenes that is relevant to the actual plot...

Its all so sad. The more I found out the more I am upset. Fans are robbed. If they could air the drama as how they fully intended without the interference of other company coming in to ruin the story in the later half by reducing ChengWei scenes and cutting the duration of the episode this BL will definitely be a masterpiece in my eyes.

CHARACTERS & ACTING ₊ ⊹❀ [Continue] ~Zhan Xuan as Guo Chengyu ~ Guo Chengyu is Chi Cheng's best friend/childhood friend where they used to be very close back then but due to some misunderstanding formed by the events that happened back then(plotted by Wang Shuo), he and Chi Cheng had a fall out and their relationship/friendship became sour/bitter. Despite so, all these years, he still accompanied Chi Cheng and played along with him when he challenges him to those Snake Battles. He may not say it, but he actually does care for Chi Cheng like a brother/xiongdi, since he did said it on his end, that he used his own way to accompany him because Chi Cheng have not been happy all these years.
Zhan Xuan didn't disappoint me in his performance as Guo Chengyu, because he does have those scenes I really like/enjoy him in, especially when it comes to his performance with Liu Xuan Cheng as Jiang Xiao Shuai.
~ Liu Xuan Cheng as Jiang Xiao Shuai ~ Jiang Xiao Shuai is the doctor who works at the 181 Clinic, where it is more like charity work, that he is helping those in need on his side. He and Wei Wei became best friends when they first met, and later when the revenge plot started, Jiang Xiao Shuai became Wei Wei's master, and they have this master/disciple relationship. I personally really love their friendship bond on my side, and I also reckon that Liu Xuan Cheng is also quite handsome as well, it is very pleasant to the eyes to see him on screen. His acting in bringing out the character Jiang Xiao Shuai also doesn't disappoint. Although he did have a sad backstory though.
PAIRING CHEMISTRY ₊ ⊹❀ [Continue] ~ Zhan Xuan (Guo Chengyu) and Liu Xuan Cheng (Jiang Xiao Shuai)~ Guo Chengyu did not expect that the moment he lay eyes on Jiang Xiaoshuai, that he would be the love of his life, and I do love those scenes between Chengyu and Xiaoshuai, because they gives off a different feeling when compared to the main pairing.
I did love the chemistry between Chengyu and Xiaoshuai as well, they are different to how I feel for Chi Cheng and Wei Wei but Chengyu and Xiaoshuai story did touched me as well, especially I do love the scene when Chengyu helped Xiaoshuai with getting over his past trauma. What he did in that action in getting back at Xiaoshuai ex, that caused Xiaoshuai that trauma and have that Ex apologize to him makes me love him even more.
~ ChengWei and GuoShuai ~ What makes this drama so great is that you don't only love the romantic relationship between the two pairings ChengWei and GuoShuai, but it lets you also appreciate the Platonic bond between the two besties Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu and Wei Wei and Jiang Xiaoshuai, because you can really feel the deep care they have for each other.
I love the four interactions and relationships and one of the things I am happy to see is that Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu can return to being Xiongdi again after the misunderstanding is cleared, because I really love their Xiongdi relationship (and this is only purely speaking in a Platonic sense). I don’t multi-ship in this Drama, ChengWei and GuoShuai is the ONLY one for me. I love their relationship just as it is!
FAVOURITE SCENES ₊ ⊹❀ There is quite a lot of scenes I love in this drama, but just to list a few of them: - Chi Cheng and Wei Wei first kiss in the cornfields - The Kiss in the Office, the first half-done NC Scene in the Office. - Wei Wei confession and his initiative to kiss Chi Cheng, that was one of my favourite kiss between them, because that is so raw and you can feel how much they long/yearn for each other, with the way they pour all their emotions kissing like that - Their official certificate scene, if you know, you know (that whole scene was SO HOT) - Kiss under the water (the BTS scene to this was even hotter though). - Chi Cheng saying to Wei Wei, as long as he said "Yes" (nod) that he did love him sincerely, he will let all this go, and will forgive him - Chi Cheng finding out that Wei Wei made Xiao Cubao a new home, and how Wei Wei said he will learn to be the perfect boyfriend, and how Chi Cheng was touched and hugged Wei Wei like that - Chi Cheng trying to hold back his tears (while driving in the car) from this heart-break but he couldn't anymore T^T (I actually cried along with him tbh) - Chi Cheng reminiscing their times when he's at home and those flashbacks really gave me all the feels (and this is also the first time I found out that Chi Cheng is such a bad cook, I sure got fooled by him since he made a feast for Wei Wei that next morning LOL) - Chi Cheng and Wei Wei making up and getting back together and how Chi Cheng tries to cheer Wei Wei up was adorable. - Dou Dou sleeping on the same bed with Chi Cheng and Wei Wei and how Chi Cheng was jealous of Dou Dou because he couldn't hug Wei Wei to sleep like he normally could. - The whole couple watch message Chi Cheng and Wei Wei send to each other, where Wei Wei send to Chi Cheng "520"(I love you) and Chi Cheng reply back with "Love you more"

You know when you see that there are those stills that wasn't included you know those were deleted last minute. Last episode was only 33 minutes and if you are going to exclude the opening and ending it is less than 30 minutes.

So for me, I will always love them and wish them that everlasting happiness away from any toxicity.
