I find it ironic you said this about the unhealthy part "to finish", because I've seen others online who found the main pairing unhealthy at first but came to love them near the end because of how their relationship has developed into something deep, sweet and in a gentle manner.
I will never understand someone's comment for saying they felt like "cardboard stereotyped figurines" 🤷♀️
But I guess in the end... we can all watch the same thing but feel very differently.

If you know what is happening to the main leads at the moment and how the ML (Tian) is being mistreated by his shitty company right now you wouldn't be saying this on your side.
Both actors Tian(ML) AND Ziyu(MC) do care for the drama. Anyone who pays attention to their posts and their interviews and BTS can see it.
But because of those crazy solo and toxics who keeps targeting the main leads and especially those paid haters who keeps falsifying those rumours is just making it worst for them to be together in public.
If they can't promote the drama openly like that, there is a reason behind it and this has nothing to do with because they don't care or don't want to.
However at the end of the day if you don't pay attention to these BTS or interviews and the actors blog then you won't know and there's nothing more to say to you here. If you think the actors don't want to and don't care, then we can agree to disagree here
I finished watching this 5 days ago, and decided to start reading the novel cause I was feeling so empty and sad…
Oh definitely I prefer the character portrayal in the Drama better than the Novel. I cannot stand the novel character to the point I had to put it on hold.
Tian sang this song in Hi6 but was deleted. I was looking forward to watching Hi6 for Tian but after founding out what happened Hi6 is on my blacklist!
Ziyu already sang this song in his previous concert early August, but the fact he chose to sing this song again wearing white, same as Tian when he was rehearsing for this song, he is telling Tian: "If they cut you, then I will perform this song beautifully today, this is for you". He doesn't say it out loud but his actions shows that ZY cares for Tian. Makes me love him more for this 🥹
I hope one day those who is putting Tian through this will get their karma and will be punished for doing it by law because honestly they are scums for lacking human decency and deserves karma IMO
I was watching ep 22 again and it really strikes me how Wei Wei couldn't sleep at all when he was in JXS place because Chi Cheng wasn't by his side.
He really has fallen deep in this relationship that he couldn’t sleep properly without Chi Cheng by his side.
So that would mean when Chi Cheng was in prison, Wei Wei also didn't get any proper sleep as well.
Which would make sense seeing how after Chi Cheng returned to him, he finally able to sleep so soundly in Chi Cheng's arms like that, because Chi Cheng is back with him and that is his safe place
Like Wei Wei said, "I have a home again" 🥹
And Chi Cheng also said it himself that he always hugs Wei Wei to sleep every night and Wei Wei probably has gotten use to it on his side, and he couldn’t sleep properly without Chi Cheng by his side. That whole thing about not being able to sleep properly without each other is endearing to me tbh. I'm sure Chi Cheng feels the same 💙💜
Tian Xuning Farewell video really brought me to tears 😭 he really puts together a video of their memories and I love him for that because it really shows me he loves his character, CC, CC and WW and RL as a whole 💌💌💖💖
I am 2 eps in and debating droping the series. Everyone raves about this show, so I want to give it a shot, but…
I watch it for their developments side of things and because I love the chemistry between the main pairing a lot I want to see how they will developed into and to be honest I've seen a lot of people who didn't like Chi Cheng at first came to love him by the second half of the story.
Chi Cheng really changed a lot for Wei Wei(MC), for the better, although for me, I already love Chi Cheng's character from the beginning since I felt he is a morally grey character which those characters appeal to me. And I felt like he has a lot of layers too, and Wei Wei can get underneathe those layers and really bring out another side to him.
By the second half, to the end, their relationship dynamics has evolved into something sweet and gentle without spoiling the details for you, but this is something you will only know if you give it a second chance and experience this journey yourself. We can't tell you whether you will like it or not since everyone is different.
For me personally, while there are negative things I don't like or enjoy but those positive scenes that I love overshadowed it for me and I am glad I watched this drama to the end, because Chi Cheng and Wei Wei is very worth it, as well as the second pairing GCY and JXS is loveable too

Oh yes!! Fans have keen eyes I didn't notice that the next morning Chi Cheng was shaking his arms because it felt numb the whole day while Wei Wei slept on his arm like that. He will silently support and do it to support his Wei Wei 😍😍 that was also a loveable scene since Chi Cheng was so sweet how he let Wei Wei sleep like that because he lost a lot of sleep when Chi Cheng was locked up 😭😭
One of the thing I am glad to see is how Chi Cheng and GCY can become like xiongdi again. I did love their platonic brothership and how they also care for each other. I love how the two couples (ChengWei and GuoShuai) have each other yet the 4 of them are close, like that 😻

Tian definitely is being mistreated by his agency but from what I know he has his own studio now.
I felt so sorry for Tian about what happened to Hi6... I hate they deleted all his scenes.
But honestly, I personally took that Tian is using this time to take a break and enjoying his life.
He will come back stronger than ever. And those who attacked him and mistreated him will get their karma. I believe in him on my side.
If people care for him than we can try to believe in him too.
