Me too. I loved the show, especially the conversations. They feel so close and natural. Especially the one conversation between Lin Tuo and his grandfather; it is literally how my grandpa talks to me whenever I see my grandparents and reminiscing about us as kids. (Also, I felt the worst/teared up the most for the grandpa, not going to lie :P)
This appeared in my douyin feed and made me tear up a bit before class LMAO Especially the part where its talking about how the parents cried in secret and even though they are doctors, they are helpless even when its about their own son. Dramas where they talk about family, familial bonds, regrets, and about being a parent always tug my heartstrings. Thisdrama will be one I remember for a long time. Even my parents tried the show and cried, and they quite literally only watch Minguo dramas.
ep13; the friendship between LT and CGP is a real companionship; when CGP found out and held it in to cry in secret along with all his actions even though he cant bear it :(
The series is really good! To be honest, it took me like 3 different occasions to continue it because the first episode didn't really hook me in. But, thankfully I continued watching it this time because it a good mix of comedy, thriller, and heart-wrenching moments!
The OST is fabulous! It takes a good composer to make music for scenes with no speaking that doesn't distract…
I agree! And the OST were composed by some of my favorite singers (ie Seori, Dvwn, Seunghwan, 10cm etc...). It was so stacked and it came with good results.
a hidden gem this season; the emphasize on the gaokao seemed like this drama was created to motivate students who will be taking it but for international watchers, we can see and learn hard work pays off but this was a really good drama on youth, and i especially love the parts on parenting, filial piety, etc
not a huge jdrama watcher but really enjoyed this one very healing and the leads had good chemistry :D one thing tho i wished we saw more of oto's musical career
