Info from AvenueX: Rumor has it that the reason Royal Nirvana only aired 3 episodes last week was because there was too much political ploy and power struggle in the drama, not “harmonious or positive” enough, so they are re-editing it to make it more “love story” centered.

Again, only a rumor so take it with a grain of salt.

helloo~ i only ever loved romcom shows but really enjoyed the untamed! i recommend it. first two eps are super super confusing so treat episode 3 as the first

i don't think anyone understood the first two eps. first two eps are more of an attention grabber, a "how did they end up here" kinda mindset. treat episode 3 as the first. i loved it from the moment he defected and created demonic cultivation :^)

have you watched the untamed? i don't think you did with your description. really isn't your "typical revenge story", it explores the ideology of crowds and much more.

it doesn't stray far, it's one of the most faithful novel adaptations (90%?). they compiled all the flashback scenes to one, to not confuse new viewers. to add a purpose for the past, they added an extra plot but it flows well into the core story.

it was made by lwj and only sung to wwx so, when wwx played the song on dafan mountain in episode 2, he immediately knew it was him.

i didnt think highly of the plot until episode 15. it's when the main plot goes into action, the inciting incident if you will.

if you can, hang in there! it's not the plot shown in the first 10 eps at all, it takes a turn. i was only there for the relationship for the first 15 eps, then stayed for the story.

but it is my most favorite drama so i might be biased. ^^

definitely more heavy in the first 10 episodes. i never really noticed them in the remaining 40
