I mean, as long as they don't go the route The Untamed nearly embarked, in which they attempted to censor by flushing out the character of Wen Qing and painting her as a potential love interest. The leaked screenplay was horrible, I'd rather it not air if it reaches that point again.
What? No... I don't want to believe it... I was so excited to see HuaLian as a censored couple and I somehow believed…
Well, Stay With Me never crossed the censorship. It was released in Taiwan, not China. The only thing that did in the past year was Justice in the Dark, and well...
As far as I know, the author is now rewriting the novel to publish it in China. So there will be no romance between…
Where's the source of this rumor? I've never heard of this and it sounds pretty baseless because the story would lose its charm, which is the last thing an author would want.
Does someone knows if there's romance? (I'm running from it).
Nothing explicit. But, I'm not sure about your threshold, so I think you should watch the first two episodes and make a judgement for yourself since the dynamics are established from the start. Each episode is ~8 minutes, so that's only around 16 minutes of watch-time.
Look people, I like BL, gay things, la real homosexualité, meaning, I haven't really watched anything Chinese…
The Untamed is fully dubbed. This is dubbed as well, because the story takes place in Beijing, both characters grew up in Beijing, and the actors do not speak with a Beijing accent, resulting in story inconsistencies to Chinese speakers if it does not get dubbed. Imagine if a character grew up in some country U.S. state their entire lives in a story but speak with a British accent. Is it an extreme oversight? Yes, extremely so!

A person condemning "suppression of the real story" and the "8.4 rating" without watching the show or acquiring knowledge on what happens behind the scenes is one who is misinformed. And entitled I may be, because anyone who knows what's going on would too be entitled to correct your blanket statements.
I've watched two episodes and even with a higher budget, it just doesn't have the spark of the original. The original…
Your first judgement is seeing the production team as an entire country, or the politics of a country, rather than themselves. Believe it or not, there are actual people behind this production; people who simply want to deliver their best effort, even if it means getting in trouble with the law. If you were to have continued watching the show, you'd see the countless risks they took to display their affection. I was there watching Addicted long, long back and I am now here watching Stay With Me. The decision from the production team to not air it in China is an expensive one, they won't get any money from streaming platforms and have to rely on Gagaoolala and VIKI for something that you yourself stated is of higher budget. They really didn't need to, it's simply one book out of all those out there, and not even an incredibly stellar one. Yes, the original punishment to the actors were horrible, but none of that is the production crew's fault. They simply want to continue telling this story, it's not a joined operation with the government, it's not them laughing at the original actors' faces, it's not even close to being a cash-grab like several other BL dramas out there. Why must their hard work be downvoted for this? It is not just BLs that get censored, many novels get censored out of several parts due to strict regulation, several of the scenes in the original novel would not be able to air today, no matter the gender of the characters. Check out the immense drama behind 《我的人间烟火》 (Fireworks of My Heart) if you don't believe me. These stories become a retelling, but a telling all the same. If you were to put your anger aside and watch this drama for what it is, maybe then you'd see why it was rated this high.
Yeah, a lot of people look at the tags and write it off; it's quite unfortunate.
Time goes by lightning fast, huh? The Untamed is timeless for me.
I hope you enjoy it when you binge it! I've watched dozens and dozens of dramas throughout the past 4 years but Stay With Me made me come back to MDL since I loved it so much that I wanted to discuss it.

Oh my god, so glad to meet you again after 4 years! You truly have good taste to be hanging out in The Untamed's comment section in 2019 and now Stay With Me's comment section.

I have mixed feelings, but I agree... if this is what it takes for adaptations, then so be it.

This is mixed together by fans as a substitute for the official album release.
These are all the songs unique to the drama. If you need further help, I got you.
