I'm currently at ep 20 and I have a problem with heroification of FL. I love the characters, I love the drama,…
My thoughts exactly! I get that her speech was probably the whole theme of the drama, but saying it to a person who didn't have the same privileges as her (forensic skills, strong backing from people in the imperial family, etc.) who was currently in prison made her seem very self-righteous and lacking in empathy. Her discussion with Yan Chi in the carriage afterward would've been more than enough to get the point across.
love this show so much! a bit nervous since there are only four episodes left, and it feels like so much still needs to happen. crossing my fingers that the ending doesn't feel rushed.
This drama isn't perfect, but it's still my comfort drama even after almost five years. The plot is predictable, so I feel like I can turn off my brain whenever I rewatch it and just forget about the real world for a little while. Haha.
I really wanted to like this show, but they started acting like a couple as soon as they found out they were childhood best friends in episode 3. It lowkey feels like we didn't actually see them fall in love, like we were robbed of seeing them go from awkwardly attempting to hold hands to actually hugging? Is that just me? LOL.
