I love costume dramas I will miss her in costume dramas but I understand she is not getting young no more those dramas cannot help her in the long run :( Congrats to her for winning the award a day or two ago <3 I respect her decision I hope to see her star with Hu Ge or Zhu Yilong again one day ^^

She is transitioning to a more serious acting... she has 2 movies coming out in october and a guest role in ZZY's film. So sad i still want to see her act in costume dramas but now she is actually choosing her scripts (i hope so hope ppl dont force her into a particular role just to promote other actors and actresses cuz i heard they do that alot)

Why the rating is low? This movie is very successful and the movie is very good one
This is just MDL and does not really do anything the ones that matter is Douban for Chinese rating. This is more for international rating so does not matter even if it's low or high because what matters is Douban rating. But the douban rating is lower 6.9 but you're right they made a lot from box office so it is successful despite the rating. It is a good movie and also scary about life.
