Actually there is a Sina Entertainment article that tells the news on the link I post above. No, I'm not from China and it should not matter whether if China is a democracy or not when it comes to entertainment news and dramas.
The news that is trending atm on weibo is regarding "The Broadcasting Review Subcommittee of the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Review Committee that held a meeting on the 26th", so is about today sanction, not about some months ago news.

I wanted to drop this out on episode 1 but I stick with it for Yu Mingye... Hottie Xue Yang would deserve a better drama casting. Anyway looks like after the first disastrous episode, the drama picked up. Let's see if it won't end in a disaster.

So I just started this today, I'm 10 minutes in and the drama is so full of BS that I couldn't stop cringing the entire time, my jaw hurts... Should I keep going? is it gonna get better, or is going to be like this the entire time? I want to give it a chance, seen all the good comments, but so far is really bad. Thanks!

The Untamed is not a masterpiece because of its graphics... There are 1626340 reasons why TU is a masterpiece and the bar is set so high that will be a huge task for any other drama to reach it.

Edit: well, we can safely assume is not gonna come today. At this point I have no more idea when, how, who... :/
Last night/this morning in China, Tencent has sent a wave of mass push notifications promoting the upcoming The Wolf. Nothing from Iqiyi/Youku though, and this is a 3 platform simulcast. I guess that's all we got for now to clinch on the release. The only simulcast drama that ended recently to make space for this would have been The Song of Glory.
The drama was suppose to air today. (There's still 4 hours they still can drop it w/o announcement (they did that to other dramas, example The Untamed last year)). Is 18 PM in China. Cross fingers till 10 PM I guess?...
