Last year or so c-ent put in place a law that dramas cannot have more than 40 episodes per series and if they do they must be split into seasons. Older dramas could pass the censor board as long as they would cut a big chunk of the episodes in order to please the c-ent law. Even if the number of episodes was more than 40, they had to comply anyway. As this series initially had 58 episodes they had to trim a lot in order to not split it and can fit into the new law. It has been postponed few times because of this. Rework, doing post production, asking license, waiting 3 months only to be rejected, rinse/repeat is not an easy job.

Because Talu Wang's scenes were too dark, there was too much gore and they got censored, that's why the drama was put on hold for so many years. Darren said so in a recent interview. Also because there were too many episodes and they had to cut from somewhere in order to fit into the new law of 40 episodes. IMHO people picks on stuff that is barely noticed. The drama is still great.

They did what they had to do in order to please the censors board and cut enough in order to get broadcast license. But the drama is still amazing. You lost a great show by dropping it.
So 2nd male lead teased the FL, hugged the FL, Kissed the FL, married the FL, slept with the FL on the same bed, he even pushes her away but she clings onto him so he has to go away from her and even do CP ship for the main male lead for her... He must be the most prolific 2nd male lead on the history of c-dramas, ahahah! Bud damn I so envy that FL! Give him to me girl, he's the handsomeness made person. :D

(rolleyes) If you scroll down to the oooooold comments, you might have noticed that I was waiting for this drama for way before TU was airing, and I also was keeping people updated with news about possible airing date and updates through ought the entire year, when people like you was not roaming around here to question me and my comments. I don't know where to watch it with English subtitles like I really need to watch it tho.
Viki just updated with 2 episodes but will take a while until the subs will be available. Tomorrow MZTV will put subs on their YouTube videos, and most probably WeTV and IQIYI intl will gonna upload as well, but is just my supposition for these last 2.
The more I watch the more I love this drama! Is hilarious and well acted. All the actors did a good job with it. I'm so happy! It is safe to say that is the best drama of 2020 so far.
