It is a female centered theme drama; it is very expected that he can’t carry the whole drama in a role where he barely appears but he portrayed his character very well. Aprt from his character in Royal Nirvana I enjoyed him the most in that drama. and it would be a trainwreck because of how the writers decided to project the story.

I’m not sure about anything else or maybe the writers to spoil it in the later episodes but this drama is a well written drama with good story pacing; A+ visuals and acting.. the fighting scenes are soo good the CGI is mwaaaah😘. I’m enjoying every character except for that moron youngsister Mu Ranwu..but the rest is just good.. Indeed the xianxia’s of this year are soo good.. Each one was better than the other from The Blossoming Love; Moonlight Mystique; I’m not sure if Guardians of Dafeng fits into the categories but damn.. all these dramas are very good each with its own charm.. I’m so happy for Wei Wei..👌👌👌Did a good job my boy. The actress Julia Xiang is also good. I’ve watched her in a couple of dramas but damn she was outstanding portraying as shifu..favorably the rating of this drama should be somewhere from 8.6 at least but definitely will reach there and even surpass because it is really good but for me it’s a 10/10.

I swear Ji yun is a completely new character in kdrama history. She literary doesn’t need to wear pants to act the role of man. She has reversed the role and surpassed even the men themselves. When she said I will not let this hand go; she saw their end and upheld it with dignity. I swear that elevator scene her holding him by his hand will go down in history of kdramas… This is standard. I swear other dramas have big shoes to fit in. Nothing less
