That's very true his character is very straightforward. I like how he displayed his emotions towards his love interest. You couldn't tell whether he really felt love or hate for her. I think he's an interesting character that is yet to be peeled open. I wish XZ to come back for that role. You can see in the wolf he had a second role but it was admirable. I'm sure if the wolf aired aired earlier than the untamed...his popularity would still sky rocket.

That is very true. They shouldn't give antis what they want. Many of the characters in JOL have worked with XZ before even the screen writer and director. Then why throw him in the mud just because of antis who r natin than keyboard warriors who are on the loosing end

They just have to bring him back. I fully agree that JOL was a masterpiece of its own. I loved the storyand the actors but its Xiao Zhan's character that kept me glued on the screen. It might have been a small role but it was formidable for me. His acting was on point and this in-short made JOL a worthy masterpiece for me.
His emotions were so well portrayed and I guess in the second season he's yet to discover his origin..I feel Xiao Zhan can really pull that out. Can chinese directors once in their lives just stop changing season two casts and maintain them throughout all seasons like most of the american seasons even if the side characters gets a luck of fame. It's their golden luck for Godsake. For a masterpiece like JOL I don't think money should be a problem. Hope they don't fear recasting XZ because of this. The boy is now gold and diamond.

Please take back your role in Joy of life...please casting director don't give it to anyone..return Yan bingyun to Xiao Zhan. I want to see him run the villain world even if he's not. But I really loved the arrogancy he pulled with the yan bingyun character.

Huacheng is sooo mwaah..he is one of the novel characters that I loved so much and I'm happy he's as I imagined in the novel. He's a combination of all spicy sexy words in one. Hope they don't mutilate the drama because the donghua has soo far surpassed my expectations...as for me I'm completely satisfied with his appearance in the donghua

The donghua starts with him from the Tang dynasty..but the drama starts from a dream like sequence.. But I like expectations..since I watched the donghua I feel like it will be a dejavu if the drama moves in the same direction..the little twist is what makes me love the drama even more.

The drama has a twist compared to the donghua but this is what makes it more beautiful...The screenwriter is the same as the one of Joy of life so I ain't gonna waste my time debating on where or what has changed. I'll just stick my butt down and enjoy the drama. As for me the first episode was nice and epic. The CGI was mwaaah..our Xiao Zhan did a terrific job so for those with negative complaints this section ain't for you. Tchaooooooo

Tan jian ci is going to kill me with his overflowing sexiness, hottie and beauty. How can one Gu Yun be all this. Indeed the cast director made the right choice for Gu Yun. My boy will rock it. 2021 be prepared

I just realized I've wstched every piece of his work. He has totally worked his way up in acting. Those who think he can't act please be good and don't watch his series or just keep it to yourself. Stop being keyboard warriors for no reason. Your opinion won't change anything.
