No he died... the workshop guy was mourning his friend at the lighthouse.. When ML read the diary of FL, he realized that she is not the person from same timeline and telling her I love you was to send her back to her world... For he knew, it will be more painful for her if she stays there... at the end, the person appearing behind is her imagination... Even the song lyrics in the background proves that... its the wishfull thinking of all the humans that the person will be beside them even after death..

All the spies in the Intelligence agency, their attempts to stall and misdirect the Leads to find the real mastermind of the plane crash... bcs of those investigation scenes, the number of action sequences decrease in the later episodes... When they are in Foreign Country, the entire episode is full of action as they are searching for one of the criminals and attempting to escape death... once they come back to Korea,.. it decreases as they start investigating the crime.
