Title The Hot Spot
It has few common features with Brush Up Life (middle-aged female group of friends, humor type, atmosphere), but it lacks plot progress. It could have had 100 episodes and still go nowhere (at least that's my impression after watching half of it). That's the only thing I don't like about it. Rest is just quality Bakarhythm - good, just could have been better!

Music of Morita Douji brought me here. I don't like and don't watch romance dramas, the girl was annoying for me and ruined life of nice guy. Only later we learn that his fiance wasn't good, but at first Mayu didn't know that, so I couldn't liked her. Since episode 2 this drama has blown me away, though. This is something, which is not made nowadays anymore. It's too natural, too authentic and too honestly brutal for modern snowflake audience, political correctness and age of safe corporate products. Beautiful.

After the first episode I expected Ogawa to be more ruthless, destroying those Reiwa snowflakes, but after all he got soft pretty fast. We live in a strange world, even Kafka wouldn't have imagined.

It's inaccurate, and kind of spit on Koreans face to present it with comedy elements. Too light, lack of urgency and weight of events. Main actress ruined the character too. Shame, because Fumiko Kaneko is interesting figure, making movie based on her journals alone would be more interesting than this mess.

For a top student in her class ml is pretty stupid and acting of parents is very unnatural, they try too hard.

Last episode feels different, strange, slow, boring and without any tension.

Title Nine Puzzles Spoiler
Was the ending satisfying?
Ending is artificial, no need for season 2 with puzzles again, it wasn't necessary.

Main culprit backstory has no sense. We don't know nothing about her past (she claimed it was tough, but nothing shows it), mother does not look just waits in her store, daughter doesn't even bother to inform media or police she has new name and lost her mother years ago. She comes to the Dream Land and hopes for miracle. Very strange. It wasn't convincing.

They also wasted potential with Ena. She's clearly autistic or adhd, but show doesn't explore that part. In later episodes it's even ignored, like losing and forgetting basic things all the time. Profile division was also strange, too young, like bunch of random people, who didn't even showed up in last episode, except for the boss.

Title Nine Puzzles
After first episode I didn't like the cast in police, especially among profilers division - just bunch of kids fresh from high school, it didn't look serious and believable.

Crimes scenes also don't look too serious, it's very shallow, no impact at all, from the very first scene, it's just like whatever.

I was interested in starting to watch this drama because of the two main actors. But, even in the first episode,…
Mind is separated into different modes. We behave differently in different situations, one can be horrible person, but great parent or great dude at his workplace, but horrible husband, etc.

Title My Happy Ending Spoiler
I am bit confused after first episode, because she thinks her husband cheats, while for me that guy we see with her friend is completely different person. Different clothes, faces, hair, behavior. I have trouble recognizing people faces if they change hairstyle a bit, but this is crazy.

Te Oh is also typical character from romantic comedies, unrealistic man with platonic love toward woman, does everything for her and is on every call without much reason and complaints. The patience and commitment not existent in real world.

Weak villain, too much music and melodrama. First part was good, then I guess they had no idea how to fill 16 episodes and ending has been dumbed down.

I don't get it why being fired for kissing your boyfriend. Is Japan really so backward? And guy is blackmailed because he likes someone from work? Wtf...

And in the end, they left Daimon go unpunished, the mastermind behind all evil, the one who killed his secretary. Last episode was disaster. Too much unnecessary long dialogues, while completely ignoring the serial killer character and his story/development.

Man, that monk is so hot, completely my type (with hair obviously!), but those scenes are almost like taken straight from JAV. I was surprised such thing is shown in Japanese drama. In fact nothing here is like typical Japanese drama, completely different quality, in a good way!

So the man was also responsible for their son fever and sickness? Did he poison him? Neglected carrying to the hospital?

I like this. One of the rare K-dramas that is not ruined by comedy/silly gags every 10 minutes, it keeps dark tone from the beginning to the end. Solid, nothing ground breaking, but very solid watch.

I don't care about her morality, wished I had devoted psycho fan like that.

Last, but not least - I wonder how relationship between doctor and his wife worked. Were they forced to marry for political connections of their families? Congresswoman wanted to show off with young husband?

Starts strong, then becomes slow, only to get into rushed ending. Overused comedy moments wasted potential of this show. Ending is too happy, lack of sacrifices, deaths, any drama. Too safe, too much plot armors, despite great beginning, falls off after few episodes and never goes back to the quality of the prologue, which could have been standalone 2 hour movie (as part 1). Twins are cute, though!

Nomura Mansai II is a Kyogen stage actor, which is a traditional form of Japanese acting. It is an art, which…
I know, but this is not theater, but tv show. Korean dramas have their quirks, but at least acting and quality is much higher than low budget Japanese shows, which apparently don't care about attracting global audience, sticking to the Japanese ways, which is repulsive for foreigners. If you don't attract foreign audience you will never be able to compete on global market and budget will remain low. Maybe since Japan has top quality games and animation, they don't bother with movie industry, while they can promote Japanese culture by other means. If I want to watch Japanese traditional acting, I will go to see Noh/Kyogen or Kabuki. I am fan of realistic shows and while Korean shows use too much comedy for my taste, at least overall production quality feels much higher. Japanese shows are just bland and artificial, which pains me, because this is just wasted potential. It seems that only WOWOW is capable of producing high quality stuff, over the years... they hardly disappoint, but for some reason that station don't make global promotion of their shows.

I think that she wanted to spare details near her daughter, maybe she noticed that mother is crazy and won't believe it anyway, maybe she didn't want to recall those events anymore.

Too woke? Since when did Sexual assault trauma become too woke?? I guess you don't understand the meaning of woke.
Presentation of those behaviors are unrealistic. New guy comes and manipulates everyone, while trusted and skilled worker is criticized? There's limit of how dumb plot can be. You can bring those topics in more subtle and realistic ways.
