Man, that monk is so hot, completely my type (with hair obviously!), but those scenes are almost like taken straight from JAV. I was surprised such thing is shown in Japanese drama. In fact nothing here is like typical Japanese drama, completely different quality, in a good way!
I like this. One of the rare K-dramas that is not ruined by comedy/silly gags every 10 minutes, it keeps dark tone from the beginning to the end. Solid, nothing ground breaking, but very solid watch.
I don't care about her morality, wished I had devoted psycho fan like that.
Last, but not least - I wonder how relationship between doctor and his wife worked. Were they forced to marry for political connections of their families? Congresswoman wanted to show off with young husband?
Starts strong, then becomes slow, only to get into rushed ending. Overused comedy moments wasted potential of this show. Ending is too happy, lack of sacrifices, deaths, any drama. Too safe, too much plot armors, despite great beginning, falls off after few episodes and never goes back to the quality of the prologue, which could have been standalone 2 hour movie (as part 1). Twins are cute, though!
Nomura Mansai II is a Kyogen stage actor, which is a traditional form of Japanese acting. It is an art, which…
I know, but this is not theater, but tv show. Korean dramas have their quirks, but at least acting and quality is much higher than low budget Japanese shows, which apparently don't care about attracting global audience, sticking to the Japanese ways, which is repulsive for foreigners. If you don't attract foreign audience you will never be able to compete on global market and budget will remain low. Maybe since Japan has top quality games and animation, they don't bother with movie industry, while they can promote Japanese culture by other means. If I want to watch Japanese traditional acting, I will go to see Noh/Kyogen or Kabuki. I am fan of realistic shows and while Korean shows use too much comedy for my taste, at least overall production quality feels much higher. Japanese shows are just bland and artificial, which pains me, because this is just wasted potential. It seems that only WOWOW is capable of producing high quality stuff, over the years... they hardly disappoint, but for some reason that station don't make global promotion of their shows.
Idk why mo mi never told the mother of the guy that she killed that her daughter kim mi mo was her kid.... the…
I think that she wanted to spare details near her daughter, maybe she noticed that mother is crazy and won't believe it anyway, maybe she didn't want to recall those events anymore.
Too woke? Since when did Sexual assault trauma become too woke?? I guess you don't understand the meaning of woke.
Presentation of those behaviors are unrealistic. New guy comes and manipulates everyone, while trusted and skilled worker is criticized? There's limit of how dumb plot can be. You can bring those topics in more subtle and realistic ways.
That prosecutor ruined entire show, because of his unnatural way of talking, he tries too hard. Japanese shows really need to stop doing that, it's horrible acting.
Characters in this drama have low iq. Wasted potential, because for a psychology professor and her surroundings I expect more. Also description of this drama has nothing to do what's going on, but that's another story.
Description is wrong, those are not the same vacation cottages.
Yeah, one is basically a hotel, old building, the other one is cottage, wooden house. I made another mistake - I've been always thinking that the guy from the present killed his wife and all this time I was waiting for reveal... I mean, why otherwise he was so reluctant to call the cops, he was hiding something, but... not, just misleading narration.
First part was amazing, full of crazy ideas, but ending was disappointing. Rushed, without any tension, not worthy all the build up. Last scene felt unnecessary, far fetched and didn't make me interested at all, kind of pointless. Overall series felt like Menatlist/CSI, but main villain was nothing like Red John in the end, I hoped for more sinister vibes.
I don't know if that's bad acting, but it's apparent that Yuma was full of shit, the manner of his speech is so unnatural. Problem is that women around him are mental 10 yo girls with low iq, completely clueless and stupid. The only good part about them is friendship and sacrifice, but I don't get why random strangers from dormitory would make bond like that, were they childhood friends or what? For worse, starting episode 6 it suddenly changes into woke crap. You drink, go with a man to his house, laugh and have fun and suddenly feel like a victim? I don't buy it. Yuma is asshole, there's no doubt about it, but women who act like victims and propaganda of consent leads to absurd reality, in which men has to bring lawyer and signed contract before sex, lol. No, if you don't say no and act like you enjoy it, don't play victim later. I mean wtf, those girls have already 20+ yo and act like they were born yesterday, playing the victim, without any assertiveness, despite they've been selling their bodies to earn money before. I also don't understand why you have to pay so much money for lawyer to remove illegal video, which violates your privacy. It's the culprit who should pay. This is the case, in which victim is indeed a victim, but thing with Megumi was hilarious (why no dna test in the first place?), generation of snowflakes and clueless individuals.
