got a Parasite and Little Women vibe in this drama but also Beyond Evil. i hope the rest of the eps are good because i'm loving the first 2 eps (very confused as to why the rating is at 7.9 for now....)
just finished watching it and i kinda regret it :/ this series was one of my most anticipated projects from gmmtv this year but it was honestly dissapointing. i dont know what the writer wanted to tell us, the story is all over the place with a forced romance (especially Ah and Li's). it's like the writer is only thinking about the "plot twists" instead of a decent plot. what a waste of a cast tbh
the drama that is adapted from a bl web novel but removes the bl. what a joke honestly :/ i was really excited when i heard the info about chanyoung joining this drama because i thought we finally will have a famous rising actor playing a bl drama, but ig we still have a long way to go...
finished it yesterday and i can say that this drama was boring.
i honestly don't see any chemistry between the leads as a couple, i think they look cute as friends though. the murder plot was underwhelming, the romance was not interesting, the comedy existed only in a few scenes in the first few eps. which is very disappointing as the actors are really known to be very very good at what they do and i agree with some comments below that said that Jung Kyung Ho has better chemistry with his male partners.
i was contemplating if i should give this drama a 7.5 or an 8, but end up giving it an 8 as i don't feel like it was /that/ bad and there were some scenes that i truly enjoyed watching. but nothing amazing about it as well
none of the above. it's just an adult romcom (not a noona lover trope) and family drama. personally, i feel like the mystery part is kinda like a filler plot. it wasn't that interesting and kinda predictable. plus, the way they end the mystery was underwhelming
