SH's dad wasn't dating the actress! they weren't in relationship and he actually asked that man who is always with him to tell the reporters that he wasn't dating her. but that man was blowing up Seyeon's bullying scandal instead :( SH's dad was really mad at him when he found out about it :(
and he retired because of his guilt towards Seyeon :(

i would say learning from kdrama doesn't help a lot for beginner lol
i would recommend you talktomeinkorean. they have short podcasts, so you can also learn the pronunciation.
if you can read hangeul and understand the basic grammar, i recommend you to watch short korean clips on youtube which has english subs on them. it would help a lot

there are some point i want to you guys to remember: each character has their own struggles. every one of them.

1.
JG grew up with a huge insecurity. she was born 'ugly' unlike her two siblings. she got bullied in school. when she asked why those bullies are bullying her, they answered "because you're ugly"
she felt like the world is harsh on her, why should she born with an ugly face. not only that, her own family also like to point out that she's ugly. so she's really insecure about herself. she also didn't have good grades so she thought what's the point of living. she almost took her own life, but fortunately, didn't.

her insecurities play a big role on her. she felt like she doesn't 'deserve' SH because SH got everything but she got none. she thought that she's lower than everyone.

2.
SH is neglected by his dad. when he was a child, he saw his dad slept with a woman shortly after his mom died. he got mad at him and wanted to be alone.
years later, he heard his dad's person was in call denying a rumour about him having a relationship with a rookie actress. he remembered the night when he caught his dad slept with a woman. so he was furious therefore he ignored his best friend's call. later, he found out said best friend took his own life the night he ignored his call. he felt guilty, so he close himself off from other people and he became a cold person who doesn't care about his surroundings anymore.

all those thing would take a toll on someone. he doesn't have someone he can depends on.

3.
SJ, SH and Seyeon were best friends. SJ was a trainee along with Seyeon in Move Ent. shen Seyeon got into a bullying scandal, he wanted to help Seyeon. remember what Seyeon's last word to him?
"I will go to Suho. I'm sure he can convinced his dad (Lee Juheon; CEO of Move Ent.) to believe me"
so that's what SJ did. he believed both Seyeon AND SH. he blocked the journalists who were after Seyeon so he can run to SH. but then he later found out the sad news about Seyeon. he went to SH, asked him to bring Seyeon back. but SH who was still shocked and already felt guilty didn't said a thing to him. he didn't explained what happened. so SJ left without an explanation from SH.
then SJ went to Seyeon's funeral, he met SH's dad. he asked him why he didn't help Seyeon and SH dad's answer was, "do you think we're a charity organizations who helped poor children?"

if i were him, i too, would blame Seyeon's death on both SH and SH's dad and hate them for it. remember that he didn't know what SH went through that night he ignored Seyeon's call.

4.
Sujin is pressured by his parents to always be the top. her parents always compare her too SH. his dad even hit her when he's mad at her. she always act like she's okay eventhough she's hurting on the inside.
when she realized SH's existence as a man (not as her rival), she thought that he's the only one who actually understand her. so she wanted to have him. now, she sees JG as her 'rival' instead of SH.

i think her bad actions towards JG can be seen when she still had SH as her rival. whenever she got the exam report card, and saw that her grades still below SH, she got annoyed by him. i think that's how she feels towards JG now that she knew JG is dating SH
(still hoping that she will realize her mistakes of using JG's weakness to attack her...)

i don't mean to excuse any bad behaviours of the characters, but i just feel like sometimes we forgot the things that happened in each character's lives. that they have their own struggles that may impact how they act in specific situations

i think they're doing that to get "revenge" on how some people said SH was possessive and being overprotective of JK. that's my thought. because the people who were saying SJ is being "overprotective" over a friend is the same people who went nuts when other people called SH possessive lol
