Not because we want to. His character & aura just naturally pulled us in. It’s a matter of preference. I personally…
true! i didn't knew a thing about Seojun (didn't read webtoon before watching the drama) and wow it's been so long where i'm head over heals for a character and the actor lol
i just finished this and i feel like it's so fast paced (or is it only me?). i haven't read the webtoon, so some things are confusing to me like how they got "infected" (but i got the answer after scrolling the comments!) who is the last guy who called Hyun Su in the car (the military guy)? is he the scar guy?
i think the CGI was good for a kdrama. monster Hyun Su was greaaaaattt. i also like the acting. Yi Kyung is a badass character
will there be S2? and if so, did they purposely end it with a cliff hanger because of S2?
The fact that you called this comment section worse than the start up one just makes it obvious you were one of…
oh wow they did... what? i didn't watch SU, so i don't know what happened there, but i know the fanwars between hjp and nds stans. i really want to know if what you said was true, because as far as i remember, that person has /very/ strongly given their opinions about certain character. to the point that I thought they're EW fans lol but i also have seen how they're being objective in some points, so i'm just wondering
i personally liked ep 13. the whole scene in the children's home was good for me. kinda didn't expected what Cheong Sin did though. but i can understand people who hate this ep. it kinda moved the focus on the evil spirits instead of the counters. now i'm curious how they would make S2. i feel like one season is enough. i hope they're gonna end it good *suddenly got a flashback of the last ep of Sky Castle*
Haha dw we all in control. No fighting on the fictional characters anymore. Not after the preview of ep 11 was…
i see them as being passive-aggressive honestly. but it's good that they know even after explaining their pov, their opinions don't match so they agree to disagree
exactly! thank you! you can also see my comment right down there where i explain the whole situation with how…
i agree. after reading what those people thought, it honestly made me felt bad that i didn't find that scene emotional :/ which i actually didn't need to, because everyone can see it differently
Our stories are similar. When I heard Eunwoo got a main role in True Beauty, I started to read the webtoon for…
i watched 18 again too because of HIY! but i watched it while i was waiting for next ep of TB (i think it was after ep 4) and i love it!!! 18 again was so emotional that i cried several times T__T
yeah, i agree that EW portrays SH well. EW acting isn't bad, that's just how his character is
Haha dw we all in control. No fighting on the fictional characters anymore. Not after the preview of ep 11 was…
oh not against Suho, but more like some people were upset that others find the flying scene funny and said how it was insensitive. and others said that they didn't mean Suho was looking funny, but the directing choice was what made it funny so yeah they were arguing about that
exactly! thank you! you can also see my comment right down there where i explain the whole situation with how…
yeah, recently I've been seeing many accounts, who i think are EW fans who goes wild whenever someone said that they don't like Suho lol but I guess, they did that because they saw a lot of hate comments directed towards him so they thought everyone who don't like him are hating on him.
i personally didn't find the scene where he was flying /that/ emotional but it wasn't /that/ funny either. but after seeing some comments here pointing out both sides of view, (first one is how SH was suicidal and made some people cried and the other one is how dramatic it was and how it made him looks like he defy gravity. especially how the director made SJ fell right away after getting hit by the car while SH was flying) now i can see the scene in both views. i didn't even realised that it can be seen as that lol maybe i'm so used to these dramatic scenes in kdrama that i just saw that scene as just another getting-hit-by-car scene lmao the only thing that came to my mind when i saw that scene was "oh no, i need to wait for another week for next ep" xD
I tried to not get back into this comment section after I watched the ep and left my review 2 days ago, but here I am again and... what happened here...
some of you need to understand that this is a FICTIONAL work. I understand that some of you are biased towards specific character, but you guys need to chill fr. when this drama ends, their characters end too, you guys know that, right?
someone saying they don't like Suho, doesn't mean that they hate Eunwoo. same goes for other actors/actresses.
also, this is a high school drama which focus on rom-com and characters development. of course they're not perfect from the start to the end. they're bound to make mistakes, to be immature, do stupid things because this drama wants us to see the character development of each characters.
a little story time, i wasn't familiar with the webtoon. i never read the webtoon before. i originally watch this because of Eunwoo (he's the only one i'm familiar with, along with Park Yoona). i watched Gangnam Beauty, and i simp for cold manga bois lol so i was curious how this drama gonna be. the first episode was funny but a little too cringy for me (i cringed hard when watching Gangnam Beauty, but well Eunwoo is there, you know lol). the second episode was fun and that's when i started simping for Hwang In Yeop. wow he's unreal. he's like my favorite type of manga boi brought to life. his personality, his eyes, nose, lips, his aura, basically just everything about him. then i started to read the webtoon and... wow his character in the webtoon is sooooo good. kinda hate how him in the drama was made meaner but wtv he's still cares about people around him. and i kinda dislike Suho in the webtoon because he just doesn't make a move and it's getting tiring. but i really like how he cares for Jukyung and I honestly wouldn't mind whoever she ends up with. TL;DR : i started watching for Eunwoo but ended up falling hard for In Yeop. not everyone who doesn't like/can't 'connect' with Suho is hating on him or Eunwoo. people have preferences. also, not every Seojun fans come from the webtoon. i like webtoon-Seojun because of drama-Seojun lmao. so in some cases, people who root for SJ-JK probably saw the chemistry between them in the drama, not because of the webtoon. (i personally don't care who ends up with who. i just want everyone to be happy. i love all the characters here T__T soojin though....... we'll see later ig)
some people are harsh on Eunwoo, probably because the stereotype of 'idol who can't act but got the main role because of his good look'. it's also probably because he's been getting the same type of character twice (Do Kyung Seok and now Lee Su Ho) so some people can't really see his 'improvements' in his acting. for me, i'm so looking forward for ep 11 where Suho was seen breaking down. from the preview it looks good, so i hope it can become the one ep where people who look down on his acting can start being open minded and not see him as the stereotyped idol-turned-actor. (i remember in a web drama (i forgot the title) where his character was an idol, he played this one song in a piano (not sure if the he played that in the drama itself or in the making video). the song is about how he hopes that people would start to look at him more than just a 'good looking guy' T__T that he can sing, dance even cooking too T___T)
wow i'm rambling so much. it's late here, i think i got emotional lol anyways, my main point is, please don't fight over fictional characters. people might be biased towards a person/character, but let's have a healthy discussion instead of shading or even attacking each other. this drama was made for entertainment purposes. so let's see it as that

jooyoung said "tell me why you didn't like me" and gowoon told him about 8 reasons why she didn't like him LOL
