i’m still on ep 3 and there’s a thing i’m confused about
so haesook was born on 1945 and her mother is in 1950 heaven but she went to haesook’s wedding? i’m guessing haesook and nakjoon got married when they were 20s or 30s, so i don’t understand why the mother is in 1950 heaven. did they get to choose what time they want to live in in heaven?
this feels rushed but dragging at the same time. i expected something more since it’s adapted from Kang Full’s webtoon and people said it’s in the same universe as Moving and Light Shop but honestly this was a bit disappointing.
ML and FL literally don’t have any chemistry and let’s not talk about SML and SFL… zero chemistry.
the premise is good but the execution lacked so bad that it ruins the whole drama for me.
ep 1-3 were so slow. it started getting more interesting at the end of ep 4 up to ep 9 but there were too many repeated scenes. and then the last ep… it was meh.
if you’re thinking of watching this drama because it’s in the same universe as Moving and Light Shop, just skip this. it’s nothing like those two dramas.
unless you’re into romance dramas so much that you can bear any boring plot, then go for it.
this was the longest 8 eps drama i’ve ever watched. felt like it has 12 eps for how slow it was. so boring.
the first 3 eps were okay ig. still boring but kinda bearable. but i had to watch the rest of the drama in 2x speed because how slow it was. and believe me, even if you watch it in 2x speed, you’ll miss nothing lol
the last 40 minutes was okay though. i like how they concluded it
i’ve never said that i’m a “self-proclaimed native korean speaker,” and i don’t know where you got that from. please don’t put words in my mouth.
i speak korean, and i gave my input based on what i understand. there’s no mistranslation in anything the news anchor said, but the headline contradicts what she actually said.
i honestly don’t understand why you’re so determined to defend a problematic choice the production team made instead of holding them accountable, especially if you genuinely love this drama. they shouldn’t have included this issue in the drama at all, let alone made up “fake” country names as obvious as Paltima and Izmael.
