He also wanted to set legal time work to 69h/week, when SK is already 52h/week, what is higher than OECD standard. It's a terrible decision when SK suffer low birthrate. His arguments were often absurd, accusing people to be communists, when in a reasonable diplomatic way, it's better for SK to have good relationships with NK and China, the closest countries and historical partners. He failed to make SK a more neutral country.

Just happened recently in Romania and Georgia. I'm not sure about South Korea, but as Yoon was close to Biden agenda, I wouldn't be surprised if it's true. For now, it looks like more an individual decision. Or at least, I didn't find any information proving your point of view.

Celebrities have often zero awarness about real-politics, and as an example for american ones, just repeat what they watch on CNN. We could see it in USA, when they all called for Kamala, a drunk woman unable to speak other than reading prompter or doing word salad, while this country was going into tyranny, war, endless waste of money, crime, uncontrolled illegal immigration, woke dementia.

Sad thing for Yoon, he's not a good conservative politician, I disagree with what he does and his pro-Biden politics, but he's not a bad man. As prosecutor, he was amazing. At this time, he was linked to korean democrat party. Keep in mind "conservative" and "democrat" aren't the same notion than in america. So it's difficult for us to understand what happen really. It can happen a democrat there have more conservative vision then a member of conservative party for example, and opposite is true too.

Yoon prosecuted and cleaned a lot of corruption among conservative party, then rallied this party (I don't know all details, as it's surprising). What made him the candidate by default, as no one else could win the election. Then, what's a pity, he didn't prosecuted enough members of democrat party, which are as much corrupt! They tried to impeach him 22 times already and sabotaged anything he tried, it's insane. It's why he made this desesperate move, but he shouldn't have done that.

In this story, there is no good guys, and South Korea is in bad condition.
