Many people didn't want a romantic story in this. But now, it lacks dramatic goals. Your feeling of "too fast and too slow", I've a bit the same. The characters don't really progress about their emotions and don't meet events making them change. The screenwriters are fresh and new. But I see there is a new one more: Lee Byung Hun. The misunderstanding could have last a bit longer, for a better dramatism. But I guess the writer didn't have good stuff to write during that. So instead of keeping it with filler scenes, there is a resolution of the subplot. What I think is the better solution in this case.

It's useless as criticism. Anyone watching comedy kdramas with ghosts can be sure there are no rigid rules, like you would have in a Sci-Fi or high-concept logical fantasy. You can watch "Bring It On, Ghost", it's the same. We never know when a ghost can have a physical interaction or not. The ghost can drown! There are only some thematics, like "you need to burn a clothe so they can wear it", or "they can eat only at funerals". But we don't care, as it's not the main point of these rom-com to have hard rules.

The script is good yes. I wasn't sure it would be, as this is the second script from the writer. A lot of smart details, good inspiration to use comedy and good lines in the situations.
I always separate the quality of the song for itself, than the fact that it is in a drama. Because many drama songs have no interest about harmonic renewal, very copied. There may be other songs I could have liked, but it's hard to listen to everything.

Script wise -> in line with the character design.
I prefer that kind of comedy than the too direct one, like some other rom-com.
There are a lot of good lines, and I didn't found any filler scenes.
And now, it becomes also good about romance and good feeling.
The dog case was moving, even if here too, it was also funny and parodic.
The two main actors are involved, and show us so many details.
Main actress is cute and a bit silly, it helps to believe in the romance and laugh.
