Yes, it would have been bad for the script she died during season 1.

Other, it's why I talk about Sustainable realism. Just the way to make people accept the situation. I didn't know what you speak about, like general audience. A script always arranges reality a little as it suits it. At least that's how it is in the vast majority of movies that show spectacular scenes.

It's mostly counter-intuitive than absurd, because if there is wind, there is also a counter-force : cabin pressurization.
I was interested by this scene. I liked it because it's a good strike as a twist. but I had the feeling I was missing many elements. The whole scene is very short (no more than 5 minutes). As I was rewatching, I have an hard time to keep track because some shots are very short. I ended to note some timecodes, even if I couldn't note all.

My favorite drama right now is The Penthouse, but I maybe remember that it's not your style: it's a competition of horrible people. ^^

Aaah, and it's incomplete. Just the basic mechanism.
There's also :
- Broker Park's assistant who talks about "merge" to solve a paradox.
- The fact that there are regular arrival points, such as the Golpi field.
- The fact that only 10% succeed, that some lose limbs, or even the case where a guy materializes in cables.
- The fact that the traveler seems to alter his internal time, or can shift in time even after the trip : phenomenon finally visible at the beginning of episode 6, but that we guessed before because of the glitchs or the photoshop session on the roof of the train.
- The fact that this effect seems to be able to contaminate people or a larger area, causing people to forget and confuse dates and times, or bring in twice 5 bananas.
- And other things like that, but no idea how it works.
This drama takes a lot of crazy work for those trying to decipher it, LOL!

- Age gap : I don't know the age difference of the actors and it's hard to tell when I see them. Moreover, the two characters are as immature as each other in some aspects.

I give you an example of what kind of BGM I would like to spot :
Go Episode 5, at 13:30.
(I choose this timecode a bit before the BGM to help with the context).
Look how powerful is the scene, first the moment of silence and seriousness, then this wonderful BGM giving Goosepumps.

And there many BGM of differents kind as good as this one, in various scene. It's a lot of work to rewind the drama and find timecodes. But doing that, you can exactly hear how effective is the BGM, as well to listen to when it's also good music in itself.

Im quite focused on BGM. There is a topic in the forum of the drama (created by Sunset), we have posted a lot of BGM and comments about it there.

- Yes, policeman Jung (coming from the future) recognize Seo Hae, and fear her. Then he see Tae Sul is with her, and is hesitant. Finaly, he follow them, and understand he was manipulated in the past. So he give a warning and say his past self will try to snipe them during the party. Then he die, lost bullet during Control bureau assault (first time these guy success at killing someone and it's an accident, LOL). After that, we see also what his past self was (or "is") : recruted and manipulated by control bureau, lie about mother death, saying Seo Hae killed her. He want revenge and accept sniper mission.
- Control bureau don't want to kill Tae Sul. I'm not even sure they want to kill Seo Hae, because bureau Boss said to Jung : "your mission was already estimated as a failure". Sound weird, as if he know that time loop can't let Seo Hae be dead now. And Sun (the young guy saving Seo Hae) is probably a spy of Control bureau, it's why CB let them escape.
- We know what is inside the box (one the key open) : some documents about space-time typology (writer by Tae Sul). So the way to build Uploader. Tae Sul say that. And now, maybe he don't need the key/box anymore, if he remember what he writed before.

You are right. The drama is so good than people are too entousiast and forget that. :-)

I think actors have so much fun to act in her dramas they are ready to go. But they got scheduling problem. And it's ok like that, because no one than Uhm Ki Joon could do Joo Dan Tae better.
Also : act in a Kim Soon Ok drama = Huge rating, it's not new. Queen of makjang and rating. Quite nice for actors.
In last empress, you have Shin Eun Kyung as a much more main actress. She's amazing. There is also a child actress at one point (7 years old), she will make you laugh a lot. ;-)

Not about all of course, like sets, it's a success, but... Marry Poppins stunt on a cable, LOL! even the slide of the roof... damn, where are physics ?
But it's not so much, and turn it to be funny (I would prefer something more serious, but hey). Now i don't care, I made the choice to be ready for some clumsy scene sometimes because what I like exced far what I dislike, and the script is too good. It made me more relax in a way.

Baaah, there is some bad comments justified. Example, if CGI is green screen it's sometimes bad and even on one scene horrible, but if it's really CGI, numeric effects, it's good. Also, some scenes choose more the narrative point of view than the strict reality. I don't know if it's good or bad, because it help the spectator to get instantly the idea, a bit like in historical dramas, when someone hide but could be visible. The scene just make sure spectator understand all in one shot, and don't focus about the head of the character protrude of the wall.

And there is bad comments unjustified because some people have not enough patience. It's a mystery drama, but they want to get all right now. How could it be ? After, they see a strange scene on purpose, think it's a flaw when it's not, then they get upset because they don't understand, forget to watch it relaxed and half-miss all the content, or eventually fast forward, and even miss the moment when they could understand what happened previously. Of course, you can't get anything like that, lol. Same when some characters make some actions and you think it's nonsens, when in fact, you have no idea what are their goal, and why they do that, and what SF phenomena could make they make like that. As the drama is full of things like that, people get maaaaaaad. :-D

About general shots, directing is amazing, never seen before number of differents sets, action never happens in the same places. There is also top fight scenes. And some other actions scenes, well... I suspect there is hidden mystery behind some. You have a very weird feeling, it's almost sure. Some others, you know there is no mystery, and it could be better.

I don't know yet if the script is a masterpiece, but I feel it's close, or very good one. Directing, it can't because some flaws I mentionned. It's a pity because without that, it could. So don't expect too much!

To conclude: the drama is very easy to watch dispite all I said, you have zero problem to understand what happens on the first level reading. So, you can choose to make your brain work, or just shut it down, it's like you want.

Anyway, make your own opinion, dont trust anyone even me. It's the only way.

Maybe you get involved on first level, so of course, attachment to the character, or see if the character fit your expectation,etc etc. Forget about that, think about the script first, and consider how the writer play it, and play with you. Be sure the FL will not stay what you think she is, and depending of the events affecting her, her bland reactions now are on purpose.

I give you the example of "temptation of wife" : the FL is a sacrifical sheep, crazy naive and stupid. She suffer, suffer, it's insane. And she never say anything as the worst thing fall on her. Worst FL ever. Just this character make you mad. So mad than you end to think : it's well done, she deserve that after all, I can stand her anymore so she's passive. You see ? All this was on purpose from the writer. The writer played with you for you feel exactly that, while depainting a whole bunch of hypocritical, evil, annoying bad people making suffer the heroin. In the end, it's like you get on their side. The writer is vicious. And when you know that, you enjoy each scene of the drama, and taste with pleasure all these characters, including the stupid heroine. It just make you laugh a lot, while apreciating the acting and the sharpness of personnality of these characters. Then, I know the heroin will suffer so much (1/3 of the drama), then she will take revenge.

Last Empress play a lot too. You even get on episode 5 (if I remember) a crazy self parodic scene (with rocky music), a joke including in the script on purpose a totaly unrealistic event, like the ones you get in oldschool bad makjang.
You get that too in The Penthouse season 1 : baseball scene.
And about FL in Penthouse, remember when Yoon Hee is stupid when she put all her money in the biotech parts and get scammed. It's the same! You just want to shout on her "don't do that!! stupid! how can you be so stupid!". For me, it's a lot of fun.

It could, but I just throw weird theory, a bit different of another ones, so to balance the mix, and it's fun.

It's a "step-back" drama mixed with "get involved" one. Even self-parodic sometimes, and you can feel the screenwriter game about her own work.
Of course, on the "step-back", I like when a character become nasty and produce plot-twist. All the drama is about that, how to surprise, how to depict bad people and doing it so well, it's like a gastronomic feast about acting and "unlockthejawness". Didn't you like it when you learned that Yoon-hee was the killer of Minseol ?
