Gong Hyo Jin is an actress I really like too. I love the way she acts comedy, she always seems to be both cheeky and embarrassed at the same time. A little glib.
TKEM has copied a lot of things from W. It will be a pleasant experience to see that, I guarantee it. If you're disappointed, come and hit me! Here there's a focus on the concept, it's exciting all the way through, and the storytelling is perfect. From the critics of those who liked the drama, I often noticed that people said that the second part was not so good. In fact, there are a few points that were not revealed (or explained too briefly). About 1/100th of one in TKEM's, LOL! But just that was enough to confuse some viewers. Anyway, the drama is so good that you have only one desire after seeing it, and that's to see it again right after! In fact, if you like W, it's almost impossible to like TKEM, which does the opposite. The other way around, it can work.

I don't think it's really the drama anymore, it's just fun so see friends here.

I feel like I can't even speak about the story now. I'm done. No more useless theorys and speculations. It's a so good feeling, clear mind. Stop the confusion. Even for everypoint I understood of the drama, it's gone too. I don't care anymore.

"Into the Fantasy" is a good one.
"My Love and…" is my favorite, but you know what ? The piano version is not on the OST disc. So frustrating!!! You can find people who play it on piano on youtube. Some good differents versions with differents feel.

Mmmmh, I will maybe watch "The promise" first so. Like that, I will be more on a line to binge watch "Fatal promise", it look like difficult to wait each week.

Yes, the Lee Lim that survived in 1994 won't do time travel because logically, he won't want be killed by himself another time. So in this case, how will the 1994 Lee Gon do to travel to the past, since it needs two pieces of flute and two travelers? In this case, there will be two Lee Gon's, the 1994 Lee Gon that has become adult, and the one that is going to the future through the in-between world. Instead, these two characters magically merge their memories as adults. You never see if one disappears or how. And that doesn't solve the problem of the logical loop.
It's possible to find an explanation. But since there is no explanation in the drama, it's just a means that the viewer uses to solve a plot-hole created by the script. This is disastrous.

This drama is the worst I've seen in terms of narration (the way the story is told). It's so bad that I don't even have a reason to criticize the story itself, let alone like it.

There's no plot-hole when it comes to Lee Lim killing his future himself. The Lee Lim we see next is from 1994.
But no matter what, if there is no plot-hole, at least there is a real hole in the narrative.
If any viewer can't understand this, it's because there is no sufficient indication, apart from a dialogue and no explanation of the process of time travel. And I suppose you must have experienced the rest of the drama in confusion, or rather, an additional confusion accumulated to all the previous ones. This drama is just painful and doesn't bring any pleasure, immersion or emotion, because of all the cases like this.

Drama fans will just say it's up to the student to piece together the missing equation. Everyone will come up with a different and wrong result, and the teacher will never give the answer. One day, some crazy prophet, pretty expert at conning celebrities, will come along and say...

Easy, and valid for any random math problem !
In the meantime, everyone will have gotten a zero on the exam and will be disgusted with math forever. Disgusted with the teacher, and the writer, too.

Aaaah, these famous "haters", which describe precisely in a rational and argued way what are the flaws of the drama, how, why, in the smallest details.

Despite the symbolic references whose effect is nullified by bad storytelling, it actually lacks depth anyway.

Well, that's also one of the things that's done wrong, the inability to produce that effect! The whole system of clues is messed up, no focus at the right time, all upside down. The spectator never gets the benefit of his discoveries nor have proof afterward. The great authors of cinema are talented enough to make the truth arrive in the spectator's mind like a flash of light! This is difficult to do, and often, for it to work, it is limited to a reasonable number of occurrences.

Apart from that you're wrong, well, to say that, we should already know what this famous spoon means. But there are other ways of cognitive assimilation. Repetition and redundancy, for example. Progressive practice, etc. And above all, the clarity of the teacher in his explanations and examples during the class! Or the way he makes his lecture exciting, and makes the students want to know more. (another point on which the drama fails splendidly)

The famous spoon !!! They're all passing it back and forth without even cleaning it ! I guess Stanley Kubrick is a guy who gives me the little spoon too ? When an author is talented, he makes people love his work, even when he doesn't use this famous spoon that much. And even authors who use the spoon a bit more, like Christopher Nolan, have surprises in store for them to thinking.

I didn't answer because I have to leave this topic at some point, and I've already learned everything there is to learn from TKEM about the mistakes not to make in a script. Basically anything that prevents the viewer from being immersed, diminishes emotion, obscures clarity, artificially complicates, hides information without justification related to the plot or a real mind-blowing effect, or nullifies belief in the fantastic principle of the story for lack of evidence. And many other things about all the precise processes leading to this kind of fiasco, too many characters, their lack of usefulness, the excessive splitting of scenes and storyline, the failed elipses, the wrong indication of the context, and so on. I already knew this intuitively, but it's still spectacular to have an example in front of you, to be able to analyze it, and to feel how it acts negatively on yourself as a spectator.

Rather than see such a drama, I would much rather read complicated scientific articles about quantum physics, the real thing, not the one single sentence line about it used in the drama.

I think I know what you mean. I saw Tales of Nokdu, I liked it, but it was a bit bland. Is this drama any better?
